The easy solution to this is just spend $3k sponsoring the next event, and tell Day[9] not to talk about how great you are for doing that.

i agree with cutting down on the razer talk. It's fairly annoying. And everyone knows razer makes the best mice anyway.><

run a commercial once in a while instead of talking about it maybe. Add some variety.

Hello Day[9], if you're reading this... I really hope you can post your videos on youtube asap. I really can't wait to watch the rest of the commentaries. bliptv is kinda slow for my 1mbps connection. Anyway this is just a friendly request. I understand that you're really busy with other things and uploading takes time. Love your vids! =)

From the polls: + Show Spoiler +Result tables after Day 5: + Show Spoiler +Poll: Day 6, Group A: qxc (T) vs IntoTheRainbow (T)0-2, WhiteRa advances (34) 65% 1-2, WhiteRa advances (8) 15% 2-1, qxc advances (7) 13% 2-0, qxc advances (3) 6% 52 total votes Your vote: Day 6, Group A: qxc (T) vs IntoTheRainbow (T) (Vote): 2-0, qxc advances (Vote): 2-1, qxc advances (Vote): 1-2, WhiteRa advances (Vote): 0-2, WhiteRa advances
Note: The ordering rules in case of ties are unconfirmed, here's what I presume (as it's used in most sports leagues): + Show Spoiler +first priority the match difference / number of matches won/, then the game difference, then the number of games won, then the direct matches between two players: 1. Qxc loses 0:2 - WhiteRa advances, because of better game difference compared to him and Dimaga. 2. Qxc loses 1:2 - WhiteRa advances, because they are perfectly tied, but WhiteRa already beat Qxc in the direct match between them 3. Qxc wins - Qxc advances. Poll: Day 6, Group B: IdrA (Z) vs TheLittleOne (R)2-1, IdrA advances (24) 36% 1-2, TLO advances (24) 36% 0-2, TLO advances (12) 18% 2-0, IdrA advances (7) 10% 67 total votes Your vote: Day 6, Group B: IdrA (Z) vs TheLittleOne (R) (Vote): 2-0, IdrA advances (Vote): 2-1, IdrA advances (Vote): 1-2, TLO advances (Vote): 0-2, TLO advances
Poll: TheLittleOne's race vs IdrA (Z), Bo3, Day 6Terran (46) 96% Zerg (1) 2% Random (1) 2% Protoss (0) 0% 48 total votes Your vote: TheLittleOne's race vs IdrA (Z), Bo3, Day 6 (Vote): Terran (Vote): Zerg (Vote): Protoss (Vote): Random
Note: TLO used Terran against the two Protoss players he faced so far, but he hasn't played against Zerg or Terran yet, and he likely has some preference against specific races. In the past, he has demonstrated the highest class of ability playing as Zerg and as Protoss too, while his main race on Phase 2's ladder has been Random (ref: http://sc2.vacau.com/sc2/euranks.php ), same as Phase 1. , including the older ones, I noticed a consistent trend of voters splitting nearly 5:3 about TLO-vs-IdrA. I'm so excited to finally see this match. Kinda symbolically, it is going to be the closing match of the group stage, and it has been probably the most anticipated from the very beginning.
Meanwhile, I'm quite happy with the play of qxc, and having the fact that he probably has a little more experience with SC2 Terran than IntoTheRainbow (who makes use of his progamer skill from BW), qxc could abuse some of the subtle tricks of TvT a little better than ITR. That, and having that ITR knows he already got 2 wins, while Qxc knows he needs to get that second win - we have a good chance to see a pretty decent fight.

I don't really mind it. He doesn't go on about it during the game, just mainly before and after. It's basically like a radio station. Advertisers often have the DJs do plugs for them, it's a better way to gain the trust of the audience.
That being said Razer's are amazing mice. I've had one for 3 years. I spent a few weeks going to different PC stores trying them out before I bought mine.

I really hope there will be a bo7 showmatch between Tester and TLO in the future.

Really just go to store and try em because their shape is very different and which one you should get depends entirely on the size of your hand and grip. The only one missing from Razr line up is the massive size mice, a la Intelli Explorer 3

In the pre match ramble, it'd probably be a good idea to avoid any spoilers for any of the players not involved in the game being played.
Aside from that, I must remark how awesome this event is. I agree, Day9 really shouldn't spoil the results, for europe it's simply impossible to watch the stream live and everytime I go back to the site I have to be super careful when I watch the videos. If I remember correctly, it was the same in the HDH Invitational and more and more people complained about them discussing the results at the beginning, so they decided to change it. I'm surprised that he still sticks with it, I don't think a lot of people approve this.
If you watch them in order , from the THIS THREAD then there will be no spoilers.
This is what I do, and I very much enjoy the preamble, as I am only able to watch a few in one sitting. Therefore the re-cap really brings me back into the spirit of the event.
Also guys, please don't complain about pumping razor. He is doing his job. He does it in a mannor that does not interfer with the game at all... We get epic events like this because a company thinks they will be their name mentioned enough to make it worth while.
What Day 9 is doing is making it all the more likely he is offered more sponserships, and perhaps even part-time/full-time casting jobs which we all want to see.
When you run into something you don't like think about it for a few seconds to figure out why it happening, and if you can't understand ask... if no one else gets then rail on it. Trust me, you learn this and you become the apm masters of real life.

Everyone bitching about the Razor plugging hasn't ever used Razor products.
I feel like such a fanboy sitting here with a keyboard, mouse, mousepad, and headset by Razor. All of them very cheap for the quality.

I have major tracking problems with my razer lacheis, very innacurate mouse, still havent figured out how to fix it..., so i'm still ussing my 5 years old diamondback mouse.
good day, svizcy

I have no problem with game three. Tester responded to a build with a build that counters it. It's about winning, and he won. You play to win the game. he didnt respond. he blindly opened super fast voidray . also he lost tons of probes, let tlo scout and more. he didnt win because he was playing good, tbh he played pretty bad in game 3. he won cause TLO was late on the vikings even after scouting and esp cause he let his first viking die. and ya ofc its about winning. i dont blame tester in ANY way.
Blindly? He saw the factory timing and made an educated guess that the build the little one was going in game 2 was the same one he would be doing in game 3.

Stop complaining about a good thing. He got sponsorship and the sponsor expects Day9 to actually pimp out their products. Do you think they will just give him 3000 dollars for free without getting something back in return? Day9 isn't getting hundreds of thousands of viewers, he's getting a little less than 10k viewers so he needs to pimp the sponsor to make it worthwhile for the sponsor.

This. Every time I saw that build I thought "he better not try that against white-ra".

Tester vs TLO games were EPIC!! I really want to see these guys play again, bo5 or bo7 please!
+ Show Spoiler +Also I think if TLO had kept his hellion alive in game 3 he could have done some serious damage to Tester's Probes... but I don't know if it would have kept him in the game.

+ Show Spoiler +that and, can enough SCV's repair a viking through 1 fully charged VR? or is it better to do the shoot and scoot that TLO went for?

How will the advancements work if qxc loses to ITR? Because then ITR will be 3-0 and WhiteRa, Dimaga, and qxc will all be 1-2. Will the player with the most games (not matches) won advance? Or will there be a tiebreaker played once sc2 goes live?
