They probably generated the brackets randomly anyway. And I'm sure most of the Day9 vs Tasteless matchups in the past have been from randomly generated brackets or in some other fair way that didn't involve an admin saying "let's have the brothers play each other ASAP!"

However, this is only the first one so I think they just want to get a ton of attention. What do I know though.

This is just sick :o Well at least it'll make for fun matches. I for one am sure to be watching every match from this tourney as there are some great lineups they setup

This is just sick :o I disagree. I mean, if this was a more established league, then I understand your argument. I think that at this point in the beta, hype/maximizing viewers is actually more valuable for the game as a future esport rather than standardization(I refuse to say integrity because I don't see it as a moral issue) of tournament procedure. It really is all about the kind of tournament it is striving to be. How was this ever about anything other than hype and maximizing viewers? While you are someone who is a competitive player, and therefore have more reason to be offended by this sort of thing, most of the people watching aren't and care more about good matches rather than fairness.

This is just sick :o It's obvious from a lot of the player picks this was the case. TBH it's probably better overall as they will get more viewers and most people don't know all the best current SC2 players. They aren't leaps and bounds ahead anyway and HD/Husky are the best outlet besides teamliquid for SC2 atm (NA at least)
