I need help in pvz, especially in the scouting department. From watching Harstem on youtube, i know the number of geysirs zerg takes is very important to identifying an all-in. But what if they take full saturation and play macro with composition switching?

It feels like scouting their army with poking is always dangerous because they can flank/counter/catch my army, trade off and win with remax in 3 or 4 base situations. I usually play immortal/templar based midgames, after early pressure using either adepts or oracle.

most people make 2-3 oracles so that after harassing you can have energy for stasis, revelation and defensive DPS against allins. if there's no allin then use your oracles to constantly tag your opponent's army. if you just see a few roaches/lings and not much else then you already know he's teching into something like muta, lurkers, or fast hive for infestor/brood lord

the other main ways to scout are hallucinated phoenix (make sure you either use 2-3 hallucinations or micro them heavily so they don't die) or harass with prism + zealots and use the zealots to spot tech buildings

What end game composition should I be aiming for against Zerg? I have been opening with the oracle pheonix into archon drop with speedlot, but I am having difficulties transitioning into an end game composition. I take storm and then pressure every base, but the zerg always manages to hold and it becomes a gglord infestor end game.
I tried transitioning into skytoss but it feels like I am building too tall, and zerg just attack all my bases, and when I mass zealot stalker the fungals shut me down

You don't play for late game against Zerg. At all.
If you really want, then I guess archons + tempests + high templars + distruptors + maybe mothership (but I never find it worthy the price) and carriers is what you want to go for. And oracle or two for constant revelation. Maybe few leftover immortals/colossi (?) if you still have them. And zealots everywhere where zerg main army isn't.

That being said gas steals aren't very common since it's really easy to keep them from happening and you need to send your probe very early, thus sacrificing economy, to have a chance to perform them... snaptube

Skip the archon drop, it's too slow. You either open phoenix/oracle or open archon drop. After that you should go for archon immortal chargelot and try to end the game
Valor is a poor substitute for numbers.

How do I win with mass voidrays properly? I heard they will be xxx in the new patch. But I couldn't really manage to take games on the patch server which means I am bad.

I have like a 90% win rate vs zerg right now cannon rush into 3 voidrays while getting a second base.
Depending on what i scout. I take an early third using the voids to defend. most common response is heavy hydras so I get a few carriers and get HT's behind it. Once you get about 4 carriers, and some HT, can start transitions back into voids and get a group of 5 or 6 and start roaming the map. depending on the creep spread, i work towards observer speed to take out creep tumors.

ye this patch is fucked for protoss. cant do gateway centric styles anymore.

I only asked, no complaints.

Regarding the zealots, I think they are just different - speed is a much different unit than that op damage bonus. looking at speedlings. Not saying I can give you The strat. Artosis says speed is more powerful - in another way.
I see it is ewakining the deatballs of courrse.

Void rays are weak early on, so you can take fast expansions and gain an economical advantage. You can use this to hit a zealot/archon timing before the void rays get too high in numbers, or to tech up to carriers.

If you get to the point where there are mass void rays, you basically need your own air army. The ideal composition is probably mothership/carrier/archon

a couple of psi storms are a good addition against mass void ray. void rays are extremely clumpy when attacking, so dropping continuous storms on them during a fight does an insane amount of DPS. you don't need too many storms, as you'll still need archons for anti air if you're using a ground army.

How to defend a 12 pool but with a proxy hatchery that prevents you from walling, i have tried to chronoboost 2 zealots and pull 6 probes i'm able to barely win the fight but then more lings come and i die.
