For Terrans though this is great. I have recommended this series to several T friends struggling in the lower leagues, and all of them have improved, and more importantly, have found motiviation to keep playing. I attribute this to the clear steps and benchmarks the series gives you, so there is always that little next step a player can work towards. Good job!

I hope u know people from Bronze to Master are very cheesy and allinish players and 60% of games u face no macro games. So if u cuold put some examples of defending some allins or cheese,it would be great. As well i think that something must change to be able to reach diamond and master,or its only this benchmarks?I dont think so,but for every MU,there is maybe some movements/decisions making we must know.FE:Bio vs Zerg may good for Platinum, but beyond this, what next?I tried to add tanks and it works, but i am not sure when to beginn making them and when add second factory. So,if u could answer somethingo of all this stuff,I would be very gratefull. P.D.I am suscribed to this thread, but dont really know what this mean. Can somebody tell me?

Hopefully by the time you reach that stage too you'll be able to just watch pro replays, or games and rip their builds fairly easily with a better understand of gas timings etc. I've finished two of the videos for it, ones uploading then I'll do some demonstration games after. The masters set is already really well covered by a lot of people out there, but I'll try to cover some areas I see some players are really weak in at the masters level. (Recovering from crisis, resetting your mindset (ie. both players lose their expansions and the game shifts back to 1 base vs. 1 base economy with both players having overproduction, it's all about getting your economy flowing again.) as well as things like proper engagements and a strategic look at the map pool. I basically try to make one video per day, but it takes a lot of work (I have to play and refine a lot, plus the editing process takes awhile). I think you can get to masters, even high masters with extremely strong fundamental plays (the series as is, after the diamond episodes should be enough to get people there) but once you're there you need to start doing other things well, and a lot of that comes from experience.

Just wondering because the lower league video's don't apply to me as much. But im a fan of what you are doing!

Just wanted to say thank you on behalf of all the players like me who are mid-range, but trying to improve. A solid foundation is always important in anything you do, especially SC2, and following this series builds it. EDIT: Just played a few more games and it's almost hilarious how the first 10 minutes of my games are perfection, 50-52 SCVs, 108ish food, all is well. After that 10 minute mark it's not so pretty. My biggest problem is that I'm really terrible at engaging properly so I lose a lot more units than I should in almost every engagement. That comes with experience, but stuff like that does make it tempting to run a 3 Rax one base that pushes ~7:30 for more wins. I just keep telling myself winning isn't my job right now, my job is macro.

I can only applause your efforts and love for the game. Thanks so much for putting the time to explain the macro basics. I got the link from another player who I owe quite a lot too, Tang, a zerg/coach/player, which for sure you know (also Canadian). I was looking for tutorial vid for Terran exactly as you created it!! Step by step and with ez benchmarks to measure yourself so you can self improve withouth feeling if you are doing things right, wrong, slower, etc. I got some benchmarks but maybe a little advanced for my play level (very little time to play now, compared to when I played SC1 about 14 years ago; student). Thanks! I will be practicing your excellent concepts, teachings and benchmarks! Suscribed to your channel so I can learn more from you as long as you have the time to make the vids. Saludos!

Getting 200 army at 14 mins is really harder than i thought. But man i need to work on upgrade timings and getting more stuff down. Trying to hit those plat benchmarks as best as i can so yeah but thanks to this guide i'm rank 1 gold so thanks a lot =D

There are some games like this one where I outmacro my opponent and still lose. I'm only in gold (facing some platinums) but I feel like I'm at the point where dropping to snipe tech is becoming essential TvP.

Two points: first, you should be looking to move out and attack around 180 food to maximize the supply advantage over your opponent. Hitting 200 before him is worthless if you give him two minutes to catch up while you bank 3000 minerals. Second, make a second starport for more vikings against colossi in TvP. Ghosts can be useful, but they're nearly worthless without good micro.

I play far from perfect in this game, but short of a poke at his front I take my time killing him. No need to rush when it's 3v2 base, he'll have one really good army and nothing to follow it up so just take your time. This guy does basically the exact same thing the guy you just played did, the only difference is I'm a lot more passive until I can deal with his colossus. (and replenish my bio if it gets knocked around a bit). The other guys about the level you're playing, he was middle plat I think. http://drop.sc/166383 I don't really like to turn the heat up on protoss players I play until my economy can withstand losing a ton of units. Edit: What Shadow Dragon said is correct too, the lack of a second starport really stung you.
