If he puts his bane nest in the natural a scan wont see it cause you always scan the main and a marine or scv cant get past the super queen that creeping.
Im at a loss,
also why do people say terran has a good early game? We need to use our static D against pretty much any early game attack,
Scout with SCV at 15 supply. You will get to his base and see if he go hatch first into pool and gas, or gas before pool, or no gas.
If he go gas first, you usually can keep your SCV in his base to see what he does with his first 100 gas. If he start Speed for Zerglings. You should prepare for a Zergling runby with a bunker in your natural. You also build all your supply depots as a wall infront of this bunker after you got your expansion up.
If you are on the map, and you see more than something like 6 lings, you should prepare for an all in from the Zerg player. Build 1-2 more bunkers and be ready to split your army.

i would say to take a leaf out of dragon's book and use barracks to help buffer the damage from the bans and make sure to put them in front of ur bunkers.

I don't know where my post went in this thread, I Guess it never posted. Anyway dim lvl zerg switched to Terran, droped down to low plat.
I follow the LiquidPeda Build order/guides vs each race.
I'm having issues finding a updated guide to tvz, I do the hellion/banshee opener by Fin aka Forgg and not doing to well with it.
Tvt I do 1 Rax fe and lose alot. what is the best bio opner in tvt.
tvp I been doing the 1 rax fe 2 medivac timming, doing ok still a bit of trouble
Are these builds find? Is there a updated Guide for each match up I should search for? Any tips on geting better with terran in general? Thanks
Edit: Sorry double posted this, For some reason my browser was not showing my post for a long time.

What do you guys think of bomber's opening vs Z today in GSL r48?
He went for 1 rax FE into 2 other rax into one gas into combat shields and does a combat shield push with loads of marines vs a quick 3rd from Z.
Killed off the third, and made the midgame full bio was real strong....

IMO, don't build more depots in the natural than needed. Only to close off gaps and to reduce surface area on the bunker, there's no need to sacrifice them all.
I get your point, however I doubt you have time to build "too many" supply depots in your natural before the Baneling Bust hits. We're not talking about a 15min banelingbust. Usually players build 2 supply depots at their main ramp, so they probably only have like 3-4 at the natural when the bust hits. I don't think that is too many. ^^

As a terran, if a Zerg pins me with mutas, how can I stay safe to push out, how many turrets would I need and where? I find that mutas keep me in base WAY too long and allow Zerg to expand excessively

I'm tired of my "macro" games (if You can say "macro" in gold league ) and I'm looking for some all-in/cheese strategies for every matchup.
Some things I want: 1. Win! :D 2. Probably pull SCVs, many of them. 3. 2 bases, unless it's impossible to cheese certain race after expanding.
What I don't want? Build orders like Thor rush vP to crush FFs.
For TvP I will probably go for 1-1-1 or same type of style, but on 2 bases. What timing I should look for? Is 1-1-1 or expand version better?
What works versus Zerg after Queen buff? 2port banshee? 5/6rax? What to do in TvT? I know there is iEchoic, but I'm not sure if I will be able to pull it off.
Short version: What all-in/cheese to use in TvZ/TvT and some tips for TvP.
Thank You in advance

Also, unless you are positive the Zerg is macroing up and taking a 3rd, I wouldn't even recommend starting a depot wall.
Please add a replay where you position 1 bunker + 1 supply depot at Cloud Kingdom to hold a early banelingbust. If you mean more than 1 bunker, it's OK please send me that replay aswell. I'm not aware of this placement and how you hold this. I want to know more.

Hey guys, Diamond Terran on NA here. I've been reading through this forum and seeing a lot of complaints on the TvZ matchup. Lately, I have been having huge success with my build.
It is a 1 rax FE into double gas into 1/1/1 hellion cloak banshee harass. Nowadays zergs are getting really greedy with the queen opener, even getting 4 queens and only lings AND quick third. If I see Zerg being this greedy, I plop a quicker CC, make continuous cloakshees and hellions and I can delay or deny the third killing queens and lings in the process. Macro hard at home. I go mech, plop as many facts as I can go up to 4 gas and expo behind my harass. Works great if you have the multi task.
KEEP IN MIND ALL ZERGS ARE NOT THIS GREEDY. Some zerg will only make queens because that is all you are forcing Him to do. 6-8 Hellion and 2 banshee is better than 4 queens. If he makes roaches, back up quit spending money on banshees pump out tanks. be aware of lair tech. Grab your third with tanks and PF if you need.
My biggest trouble is a lot of quick roaches, and all ins. I am still working on my build, but honestly I am close to a 100% win rate. Message me for replays

Yeah ive been doing the same. But I put down double armory (and an ebay for anti muta depending on what the T did) )before additional factories. Also, i Produce banshees all game long, trying as hard as i came to force him into mutas. If he doesnt make them, i can really harass him all game long and if he does well mass thors FTW.
I hit either with 2-2 160 food or 3-3 200 food Mech, depending on hive timing. I get mainly thors if muta and then tanks, or pure hellion tank with only 2 thors if no mutas.
Im around 90 % also, the only thing that has killed me is when i was going pure hellion thor and 100000 roaches came at me.
I really believe Mech is a good solution, but its just not as fun as Bio, so i started playing bio again, with very few tanks.

You should be able to fend off any all in with this. just place your bunker intelligently and use your 2 first hellions to roam around places where banleings could be morphed and then use the upcoming banshee to starting picking them off. I find this hellion cloak-shee afetr expand to be the safest follow up to 1 rax xpand.

For TvP, although you mentioned 2base, a 1base thor all-in will probably win you every single game. It's been a long time since I did it, but the gist of it is you get one medivac to fly the thor (to get it to the Protoss base faster) and pull SCVs. You have a reactored barracks too, so the medivac has its use.
So it's basically a ton of marines, one thor, and a ton of SCVs (to repair the thor). Of course, this is assuming the Protoss is going for a fast expand. If he isn't you're kind of screwed. Dunno how common FE is in gold.
As far as 2base goes, I think IamJeffrey had a nice 2base all-in for TvP a couple of pages back.
For TvZ there are no viable all-ins. The only one that can maybe work is 9depot and then double proxy rax at 9 supply. Pull SCVs and bunker his nat.
For TvT there are a ton of 1base all-ins, but not really 2base. My favourite all-in is cloakshee, then reactor both your rax and your fac, and pump insane amounts of marines and hellions while harassing with banshees, then pull SCVs and push.

Hi, you might miss my post, so here it is :
Hi everyone, i'M terran diamond and i have difficulties to search What aspect of my game i have to improve. I watch all my games but it'S very indecisive, i can't find a thing to work on at a time, and the result is that i don't improve as much as i should. It is very hard for me to search and find a style(Ex:Bio, Bio/mech, mech...) and then stick to it for better and faster improvement. So in the hope that you'll heLp me, i give you some replays : http://www.2shared.com/file/yDtMWW6l/replay_pack_ace.html

Just load up a game versus a very easy AI and practice stutter-stepping with stimmed and non-stimmed marines. The pace will become normal after just a little practice.

So yah. I need some serious help please I just got steam rolled by a FFE into archon zealot 2/2 timing, mainly only zealots and just completely steam rolled me. I did usual timings with early +1 5rax medivacs off 2 base. Wut in the hell do i do. How do u punish that?

Haven't seen his matches yet but I've seen him do that on his stream. I kind of like it, hits before creep is too far out (relatively speaking), and assuming he keeps the zerg blind it can do some good damage especially if they took a fast third. He also macros hard at home and gets upgrades so it transitions nicely, only downside I would imagine is slower tech due to the early dependence on marines.
Edit: Just remembered that in the Day9 Daily on Bomber vs Ostijiy he does this opener as well, but stays in a much more defensive posture and just gets a fast third (and 4th and 5th) without the combat shield push.
