This doesn't prove anything or maybe proves 2 things
1.nobody plays 1OO'/. on ladder
2.The game is so young that you can make any shit to work.
So i don't think you made anything new or show how "imba" the game is because i can 2gate proxy every game and say look after massing some games i'm in GM?

I use it in early game for usual stuff warpgate etc...
In the middle game I use it for my upgrades but I kind of slack off in the late game.
Couple of HTs could have won me that game I think, as well as maybe pushing the gold after the first battle.

It would be hilarious to have a thread about someone proxy gating to masters ^^ Don't think it would be feasable though.

this guy acts like hes very mannered in this thread, when he did that vs me, he actually felt really great about himself and when I didnt type gg he messaged me after the game, annyod me with an offensive gg and said i should learn to manner up...

If I remember you correctly, we had an interesting game where you pulled of some decent bit of micro. I messaged you after the game with something like "gg, that was some nice micro" (which now that I think of it could be misinterpreted :S).
And you started insulting telling me to fuck off or i don't know what. So I said something like "manners plz" and left.
I really don't see that as being bad mannered, but sorry if you felt I was agressing you.

Yeah you should
50% of people on ladder , are so bad mannered: no response to your gl hf, insult because your a zerg (LOL). Even if i loose on such a stupid strat, i say to my opponent what i'm thinking of his strat, then i gg.

Someone used this build on me for the first time. I'll admit it was rather poorly played out, but I defended it with 1 gate's worth of units.

A) If it's not broken, the good players will figure out how to deal with it.
B) If it's broken, then there's time for patches or HotS to fix it.
C) Creative thinking is good for the game.
D) Stop taking the ladder so seriously. The ladder is for fun and learning, and you should learn from defending cheese.

I find it commical that you called this cheese in the title. A terran just did this to me (i play terran as well) and my build order is to build a bunker on my 4 th marine. Just when the bunker finished here comes his push and sure enough i was able to hold it off w/ ease because i recated fast enough pulling my scvs for repair.
What does he proceed to do, he calls me a "F***ing cheesing terran"
Me "how so?"
Him "When you build a blind bunker its cheese"
and left the game
I had a hard time understanding who cheesed in that game, me or him

I'm so glad I read this post. 5 people have used this strategy against me today so I knew it was coming and just got early banes and dominated it. The buildings on the low ground are such a give-away.

Ya someone used this against me last night also. Good thing I read this post because I just bunkered up when I saw supply depot and barracks on low ground and won the game. I think this build has already become too well known to be a viable cheese to GM strat.

Wow, the last 2 terrans I met did this. First time I scouted it and held it off easily, the second time it caught me completely off guard but I still held it. Not sure what the point of such a build is though, you get some easy wins but then what? Still though, now I know where it comes from and hopefully how to defend.

Some one tried this last night.
Map delta quad i was zerg. I crushed his push with zerglings and drones and asked him if he read this thread. He didn't respond and turtled in his base so i just teched straight to broodlords.
I was surprised how easy it was to hold off, if he would have sent out 3 marines ahead of the rest of the scvs/marines to clear any scouts i wouldn't have seen it and wouldn't have canceled my hatchery in time to get out enough lings. (i did a speedling expand, my hatch was 80 percent finished when i first saw his scvs coming, i only had 2 lings at this time)

I saw a terran do this on me close position, I was very slow first but then I saw all scv coming so just kited with stalkers, pulled some additional probes also. But worked out just fine, maybe he would had won if he did had better micro.
