[Q] Most efficient/best way to cast spells

So, I have searched the forum for this and was surprised it has not been asked yet...

The question is simple, what is the best way to cast spells?

For example, if you have 5 sentries in your army and want to cast 10 FF's, what are the best keystrokes?

Right now, I would click F, then shift, then click where I want to place the FF's. I know this isn't the best way to cast them because I see ALOT of people cast them MUCH quicker.

I don't use mass spells but I don't see how we can do faster than shift + click. Imo, clicking faster is how they cast quicker.

You don't want to use shift when you're casting spells with attacking spellcasters (ghosts, sentries etc.) because that will queue the spell after the current attack command which will make for sentries cast their forcefields a lot later than you want them to. Instead just hold the 'F' key and click the ground where you want the forcefields, there really isn't anything more to it.

Most people hold F and then click the forcefields in place which works great. After placing them you're generally stuck with the forciefield-placement icon unless you released the F key perfectly, and so you have to press Esc to micro further (put up a GS for example)

I tend to Hit F->click->Hit F->click-> as this means I don't get 'stuck' afterwards. It makes my forcefields a tiny bit slower than they could be, but I prefer this as it tends to mean i place them more accurately, without stacking lots.

i have another question regarding spells: Is there some way to exclude quickly one group from whole selection, so i can tab between major casters?

if i have MMM+ ghost for example, tabbing gets medivacs selected, which is annoying and useless.
