I haven't been playing recently, but, I don't think this has happened.. has it? Will it? Hoping to get back into the swing of things eventually.. Or is it just, spot the FFE and stop everything to save up for the third right then and there? If you went 15 pool > hatch you want to build it around 4:05. Before that you would have to cut things and it's not as good.

It seems when i need to do a bunch of them, at least some of them will be out of range so my sentries can't do it right away, so then either i get nervous and throw a lot of misplace ones, or i move back my whole army and no FF ever goes down. Do people queue them? Any things i should know or just practice? thanks :D practice practice practice. know where your sentries are at all times and know how far you can forcefield, that way they go down when you cast the spell

I've also seen players like rain move their sentries closer in a fight in order to get forcefields off.

A thing I used to do is indeed clicking the sentries, moving them slightly forward (you dont lose much dps ) and forcefielding then > feels a lot more 'instant'

I'm a returning player after not touching SC2 for a while...my macro and general mechanics are good, but I really struggle with micro :/ There isn't really a least micro-heavy race so much as there is a micro race; Terran, and then the other two races much less so in comparison. I don't think you're going to find satisfaction in committing yourself to choosing a race based on micro dependency alone though. Training micro for a year isn't hard -- re-learning a new race after playing for a year is.

Do people queue them? Any things i should know or just practice? thanks :D You say you "move back your whole army and no FF ever goes down". I may be wrong, but what I am getting from this is that you cast FF, but have your sentries on the same hot key as your army, so when you pull your army back before the cast of FF, it is canceled. In addition to others advice, I would just recommend that you have your sentries on a separate hot key. I usually have my army on 1, HT or priority on 2, and sentries on 3. Then once you position everything and 1a2a3a into a fight, you can easily select the sentries and FF as your army begins to attack, and then use 1 and 2 to quickly go back to microing the remaining units.
