Hello. I'm a Master Zerg and i had trouble in zvp recently. The Game: Standard opening Nexus first, I went 3Hatch no gas, standard stephano execution build. From 8:30-9:00 i only built lings because he had 4 gas, therefore no gate allin incoming. From here on i was a bit confused, It was 11:30 and nothing happened. I build a lot of roaches and he expanded with 2immortals and blink stalkers. (I couldnt break him)
What I am supposed to do? If there is no 9:30 i'm gonna prepare myself for an immortal allin and i don't wanna hurt my eco too much overproducing roaches~

I'm still having trouble wiht air support guys. What units should I be building against mass rays/phoenix or mass banshees? How do I use my infestors properly?

The most obvious choice would be to morph an overseer around 10:00 min and check whats going on, this way you gonna if he is just preparing for a big 2 base all in (6-7 gates) or just waiting for a good time to expand. In any case put down an infestation pit, and try not to overproduce roaches, around 20 would be the most you want to have. If he wants to all in just set a good flank and crush him, ez pz. Now if he is trying to secure a late third like you said you should also try to force a fight in an open space and trade some units. Remember all he has is a 2 base economy while you were sitting on 3 for a while now so its much easier for you to reproduce. Behind this take a 4th fully saturate your bases, take all gases and tech to broods. From now on its should be an easy game since his economy is so late + you should have reduced his army by a significant amount during the trade at his third so there is no way he can hit a strong timing before you get broods out.

Hello.
I am low rank platinum zerg since more than 1 year and i think i cant advance because my unit composition is pretty useless.

You'll want to throw down a fungal to hold them in place and reveal cloaked banshees, then throw down infested terrans as they're reallyyy good against air.
If they commit heavily enough to air, build some hydras or corrupters.

Does the drone drill still work? I tried it but it didn't work
I remember using it before and it working fine, but last time I tried it they all spread out before attacking. I don't remember seeing anything in the patchnotes...

Yes.. Kinda. It's very dependent on the map layout since now they just try to walk around a lot if the mineral patch isn't in the perfect spot. If you do find a mineral patch that lines them up properly, you have to click the mineral patch and then click the pylon or whatever it is you are attacking then click the minerals again really quick.

A replay would help here. In general though you want to sac an overlord to figure out what he's doing between 6:30-7:00. If it looks like an immortal all-in is coming (gateways building and he should already have immortal out) then prepare for that, but if he's taking a 3rd then it's time to turtle up and go to the lategame unless you were preparing to break him. Take a 4th and make a ton of drones and spines while getting infestors and teching to broodlords. Don''t forget to sim city the spire and put spines in your main to defend from any warp prism play. You should have a ton of extra minerals so don't be afraid to overmake spine crawlers.

I would like to know which units i must have against all kind of protoss army. This question is so vague, you can't expect us to answer to such a thing. Most protoss will tell you : Broodfestors. But don't listen to them because there's a lot of things to do before you get them.

This question is indeed a bit too vague. Infestors are always good no matter what, but dont make them if you cant afford them (you need a big eco to make those).
Roaches > gateway units.
Ling > gateway units if the protoss attack upgrade is not better than your carapace upgrade (if zealots have better upgrades than your zerglings they rape them).
Immortals, archons and colossus > roaches if there is enough protoss units to tank the damage.
Archons and colossus > zerglings. Obviously, if he has collossus you want to have corruptors. Your end game composition of choice is infestors broodlords.
Ultra > protoss if there is not too many zealots, archons and immortals
corruptors > colossus, phoenixes, carrier, mothership
corruptor = void ray more or less
forcefield should not be a problem in platinium.
Try to fight in open space where all your roaches and lings can attack
It's possible that the problem is your macro. Try to look at pro replays as often as possible, they help a lot.

It has been nerfed by a patch, i'm like 95% sure of it. It's supposed to not work anymore but i think it still work in some very special scenarios. I never bothered with that coz i leave the game every time i got 3 pylon walled. It's useless to play those games, if they're retarded enough to think ladder point matter let them have it.

MASS QUEEN BROODLORD INFESTOR THE JUST MASS HEAL WIN

How do I win in ZvZ when they go for roach infestor? in this match (we're both gold) I went for roach hydra to sort of force him to build more roaches, then I was going to transition into infestors but he built infestors first so I didn't want bother trying to catch up with him on the infestor count, so in this situation what should I have done?? I tried flanking and setting squads to target the infestors but it didnt work. Should I have just gone straight for infestors myself instead of the hydras???

In almost every game, I feel like I don't have enough gas before I get to hive. What are the standard gas timings for 3rd base for all matchups? (ZvZ, ZvP, ZvT)
Explanations would be also very much appreciated thanks.

you get your geysers up while your 3rd is being built an all mus, except of ZvP if you go for fast thrid (stephano style). Sometimes the same happens if T goes 14cc and you can go fast thrid.

No one has answered my question =( The biggest problem I seem to have right now is air support, mainly protoss! If they go full carriers and mothership how am I supposed to counter that? I use stephanos build order and I get a lot of roaches. When I see them having a big airship army I usually go corrupters right away, but it doesn't seem like its enough to penetrate the protoss army or take it down.

I answered your question, read please. Something is going wrong if you're going maxed roaches and they already have maxed carrier mothership.
Supply a replay please, something else is wrong other than your army composition.

Your roach attack when using a stephonoy build should be 12-13 mins 14-15 at the latest he should have any of that at that time. he may however have a couple voidrays which shouldn't be able to destroy your rouches in time for you to not only netrulize his army but destroy his 2nd and or 3rd. From what you said i think you rouch attack is coming late. you don't have to have a full army before attack just rally more units in the direction of your enemy. Build your Queens as soon as you can and never i mean never miss an inject. Injects are probly the most important thing you have a very small bit of lay way because the inject will finish ever so slightly before you have enough energy for another one. Its not like mules though they can forget and their build will be 300 minerals weaker everytime they miss but they can throw it down later and will be pentalized for missing cause they could have had that earlier. Zerg though you don't inject you don't have the most important resource to Zerg untis.

Just stay in base and have solid defence for drops / tanks, go for infestors and broodlords.

He only makes enough roaches to survive the mid-game so he can get to BL/Infestor. You should try to do this as well. Also, if a protoss is able to amass a max carrier mothership army with templars mixed in, you have already lost. It is impossible to kill that army if controlled properly by the protoss so you should try to win before that. Keep in mind that it is VERY hard to reach this late game comp as protoss. Carriers cost a lot of money to produce and take a shit long time to bring out so you can hit a max Bl/infestor timing before this.

Infestors are essential in zvz. You cannot simply not make them. If the zerg gets infestors out before you do, you just need to turtle and establish a three base economy and get infestors out ASAP because you cannot attack into infestors unless you have a massage supply advantage. So once you establish a three base economy, you need to make a max roach/hydra/infestor composition and kill him.

[D] 3 Hatch before pool in ZvT: Genius or Retarded ?
I've been playing a lot of ZvT in the last weeks and I've been going 3 Hatch before pool with great succes. But I never see this on high level stream and/tournaments. Are there timings GM terrans can hit which my opponents are simply incapable of or is it something else?
Basic BO
9 OL 10 Scout (If I scout gas or proxy I obviously go standard. But with a CC first of Rax/noGas I feel there isn't much the Terran can do) 15 Hatch 17 OL 18 Hatch Pool whenever you hit 200mins.
After this I get 1 Queen from my main, 2 from my natural & 2 from the third. By the time the Terran realises I've gone 3 Hatch Before Pool (3HBP :p), there really isn't any option for him to kill my third. His hellion/Banshee are late since I scouted no gas and with 5 Queens I can easily hold it. A mass marine/hellion attack is dangerous, but mass slowlings, 5 Queens & a Spine to tranfuse easily hold it. After this I enter the midgame with a good lead.
So....nice idea or retarded for a reason I don't see?
