Nearby zealots + sentries on immortals until shields are dropped, then everything ranged + nearby zealots till it dies. Stalkers on stalkers if you have >= zealots, otherwise kite and kill the zealots. Don't let zealots wail on your stalkers.
If I attack a zerg base, should I go for the spine crawlers first?
Depends what he has defending and what you're attacking with. If you have immortals and he has hydras, then immortals on spines and rest on hydras would be best.
Why do pros put their home base at ctrl 5 not 1?
I guess because when you have a bunch of groups you might be pushing up to 5-6 for units then which can be awkward. It's all preference though really. Do whatever you're comfortable with.
And my last question, when should you go for a base race if you get back stabbed unknowingly? Say he had 8 roaches, and i had 4 stalkers. Stalkers would lose right? so do I go for his base?
Firstly, if you don't have air, never base trade a Terran. Other than that...well, you should base trade if you can kill his base before he can kill yours. Not much more to it. In your example I would take out his econ then run back and kite the roaches.
