This LotV oriented 2p map is effectively a "spiritual successor" to Terraform. This map preserves the concept of a separated outer ring and inner area, which are connected only by narrow, abusable chokes. However, the long corridors have been largely replaced with wide open spaces.

Version 1.1 updated the map to be more experimental, blocking all 6 chokes with the center with destructible rocks and turning the center into a semi-island. To incentivize accessing the middle, the center bases were changed to use gold minerals.

Decoration is classic WoL style, deliberately avoiding most of the simpler and more cartoon-like textures and doodads introduced in HotS.

Included in the SMA inaugural map pack.

Definitely some nice and uncluttered work.

I would be interested, what in your opinion are the features a map shall need in LotV to be eligible for competitive play that differ from HotS ? Or is there more leeway for the mapmaker ?

I saw an interesting question earlier about whether or not main ramps 100% always need to be 1 FF in lotv anymore given that protoss can open adepts and early ling floods aren't really a thing anymore because of the boosted early eco. Not sure if you could go full yolo 2 or 3 FF main ramps because of terran wanting to wall off against adepts but it's something to think about, maybe a 2 FF ramp with a neutral raised supply depot aiding in the walloff or something. I guess adepts are a major variable here so we'll have to see if they get nerfed and how hard.

Hmmmm don't worry about it atm. Later I'll make other ones that fit better for map threads.

Map looks pretty fun negative, one of my concerns is that once a player is in the central highground it may be hard for the other to get in the highground too, meaning that you don't see as many fights in the center of the map, but other than that not much else, maybe an army attacking the frontal third may be too hard to surround for Zerg specially if we are talking about LotV with Libs and stuff, but I really don't see how you could keep the general idea of the map at the same time avoiding that possible issue, but yeah, to me it looks like a pretty cool map, I really like the 1x ramps in the corner bases btw, I have been trying to use them more lately, they really help with the 3 base problems sc2 has.
