well xinox whit this new info you got now you need to change the ultra back and change the ultra and change the wido mine accourding to the new info came

The widow mine still has a 10 seconds countdown. maybe there is a newer version. but noone who isnt working for blizzards balance team has ever seen it. ill ask david kim tomorrow if he has time

well another thing i saw now that need to be changed is the locouse damge upgrade. its +1 tp attck atm need to be +2

Because SoulFilcher's icons are free to use, I will repost some of these icons here, also some icons are recolored or slighty edited by me. So just use it and make your map nicer, maybe because your map will be used soon on tournaments and some famous russian SC2-fansites with some cash.

Locust Life Time Upgrade

Spent 30 minutes on creating this icon. Used official swarm host unit model and some lighting like at Armor upgrades.

Hello, just letting you know there'll be an update soon with a new map and all the new graphics (and yes Ultralisk damage reverted ). It will conveniently be called patch 1.10 .

Awesome! Will you also update Warhound model and slower a bit Viper's abduct? It lasts now probably 0,5 seconds, but in trailer it was slower a bit, something like 1 second.

no matter how many times I play hots, the tempest strikes me as the lamest most stupid unit ever. Anyone sharing these feelings?

na, I just feel like everytime I play with it, that I'm not good enough to use it properly. I mean, when you harass and shoot two times on a defense or something, the harass is basically over and hardly any damage done.
When I use them in an army, and dont target fire fast enough, it shoots a roach or a hellion or something cheap etc... It feels sooo hard to use properly and might just be too weak right now.

Its tricky. Theoretically you can use just a single tempest to force engagements towards you. However Terran usually has vikings against Protoss, or at least the means of production and they wipe the floor against tempest at range. Corruptors that will be in the field anyways for Zerg will also roll tempests without a problem.

I think Blizzard designed them so that Toss will finally have a siege weapon in its arsenal besides its death ball, but the counters that nullify the unit are generally always in place.

Hey guy, patch 1.10 is now up on all servers. This patch adds custom models for the Warhound, Mothership Core and Locust courtesy of GhostNova and changes almost all of the icon graphics courtesy of SoulFilcher with a few of my own additions such as a remade Preordain icon. Ultralisk damage has been reverted and a few other small balance changes were made (locusts now do +2 damage instead of +1). Hope you guys like it, and let me know what you think of the new graphics and if there are any issues with the map as usual. Thanks .

Patch Notes 1.10
- New models for Warhound, Locust & Mothership Core added, credit to GhostNova
- New icon graphics added, credit to SoulFilcher
- Ultralisk damage reverted to 15(+20) to armored, upgrade bonus also reverted to +2 to armored
- Locusts now get +2 damage instead of +1 with each Zerg Melee Upgrade
- Widow Mines are no longer 'Light, Mechanical' units only 'Mechanical'
- Tempest missile movement speed is now 20 from 10

New map is very nice.

New problems (all new descriptions are dissapeared! Instead we see Button/Name/MorphToViper and similar) and some questions about icons:

1) Ultralisk burrow charge icon - there are already colored official icon from "Ultralisk Speed Upgrade" that was been in beta, where you can see speeded up ultralisk legg. And no description for that ability.

2) Why no love for my icons for Locust Life Time Upgrade and Blind Cloud ability? I did it special for you. And there are no description for Locust lifetime. And I think you should make Consume icon a bit darker, it's a bit very brightness now for a dark Zergy interface.

3) No descriptions for many other new abilities and upgrades. Also all new stuff now is without descriptions

4) Add medivac beam to show what building Viper is consuming at the moment

5) Bring back old pylon power field. Current one is nice but it's a 3D model that confuses sometimes. Or make it FLAT, like original one.

6) When using preordain, it writes "Icon - Tempest", "Icon - oracle", etc. Isn't here should be icon?

7) Near the building icon that has Preordain effect, it writes "Unknown(preordain)"

8) Why no love for my Tempest upgrade icon? I did it special to show that it fires longer.

9) I think Tempest fire-ball flying speed is a bit faster in trailers. In HotS Custom 2 it's a bit slow.

10) Fix description for Factory. it says it enables Helion but no info about Widow mine. Same for Hive upgrade and other similar tech updates that allows units.

11) Icon for combat drugs is totally wrong. Use the SoulFilcher's icon with yellowed stimpack icon. Current icon fits better to something about laboratory and similar stuff, but not for Reaper Combat Drugs!

12) Icon for battle helion is great! Also nice to see good model for Mothership core, Warhound and locusts

13) Why no love for burrow icons for widow mine? Or you prefer current ones? That are monochromatic? And fix please monochromatic burrow icon for Swarm Host

14) Fix widow mine walk animation. It's very fast now. Maybe make it slower? Same for locust walk animation. Their walk animation is very fast too.

15) Fix changeling please

16) Viper's abduct icon is wrong I think. Use the soulfilcher's version? Or I can create something new. And change Viper's portrait to Brutalisk, it fits better I think. And remove SpineCrawler atack sound from Abduct ability.

@Xenox: If you downloaded the Mothership Core from Mapster or my mod then credit goes to SoulFilcher not GhosNova. If the model you use for the Locust is the same used by me then credit must go to Thrikodias, but I must warn you, Thrikodias' version can't be selected by dragging the mouse around the units, the version im my mod is fixed, but you must give credit to me too for that one.

xenox there is problome with the hotekys now. some unites like viper and swarm host dont got them. also someone wrote that the temepst rate of fire is too slow? it need to be 6 -heard it on battle report if it is not just change it to 6. as far as i know it didnt change
