Chocalatte Collloquieau Macro map designed for pros. Published on NA.
First of all, if you cannot pronounce "Chocalatte Collloquieau" then you are not a pro, and will sound newbly when discussing strats for it on Vent. + Show Spoiler [for newbies] +SHO-kah-la-teh cole-LOW-kwee-oh.
Second, if you cannot spell "Chocalatte Collloquieau" then you cannot find the map, and you are not good enough to play on it. + Show Spoiler [for non-pros] +There are 3 L's in Collloquieau.

If you did not know these were the starting spawns just from a glance, you will not do well on this map.

Beautiful and Deadly.That's a mineral wall protected with Hostile Siege Tanks and Hostile Missile Turrets. You must come in by air or ground or ground and air and then use workers to make a hole. Do not use this path unless you know what you are doing.

Oh, and look carefully at this analyzer pic of rush distance to get your top-level timings down. You must factor in the ZHG yourself. If you can't do that, you're not good enough for timing attacks; just turtle 1 base carriers out.

However, there is a slight imbalance in favor of the 2 o'clock spawn, in that he can completely wall off with 2 3x3 buildings, whereas at the 10 o'clock spawn this will leave a 1 space hole

2 o'clock's gas is positioned sub-optimally to counter-balance this.

Terran players will have heart attacks seeing this map's overview. Zergs will cry for joy.
Then they'll see the analyzer, and the reactions will switch. Lots of chokes are abound  I need to play this map with my terran friend just to fuck with him.

This is how I can tell your map is a normal, newbie-friendly, Blizzard-esque Mickey map romp: there are spectacular visuals.
Pros don't look at visuals. They look at game.

Dimfish, I would like to say that just by looking at your map I now feel like a Master's level pro. I have gained so much knowledge just from the pure mind-fuckery of the aesthetics alone that I know my metagaming senses have improved immensely.

Hmmmmm. I calculate that visible one-way LoS blockers are harsh and unfair, no to mention frustrating. Perfect, I will add them; you are recruited to the project. Send me a custom model with 14 variations of a metal fence with obvious one-way mirror windows.

WHAT you want visable one way los. I thought this was a pro map. Pros should be able to have one try of a map and instantly memorize terrain, highpoints, and key land formations that affect gameplay. I wanna see game where you a-move...i mean micro your army and BAM you've run into a 200 food army of banes.

P.s - no seriously- anyone have the know-how for one way los, it would really help with funcmode's project.

Add fake expansions with minerals that appear to be full, but only have 5 minerals each. Newbs will fall into the trap, and waste their resources on an expansion that cannot pay for itself!

This map is imbalanced in ZvP Make netural probes that can be mind controlled at the bottom of the map to fix this imbalance.
Oh and who cares about ZvT. Its never played anyway.
