It's very easy to understand the rules of starcraft. Open galaxy editor and then click on the data editor tab and it's all there. Every single detail from the fact that void rays and sentries deal damage instantaneously, to the fact that all weapons have a random delay between -1/16 seconds and 1/8 seconds associated them to the fact that zerglings have a minium effective attack period of 0.5 seconds as a result of the back swing value. You would be suprised by how much custom map makers know about the mechanics of SC2.

The thing they should fix regarding creep spreading is that the tooltip indicating a creep tumor has finished should appear once its cooldown is done so you can actually click it and place another tumor. Currently it appears on completion but then you have to manually wait out those 15 game seconds before a tumor can be placed. So much for handy tooltips...

Does anyone know if the new creep area is larger or smaller?
