That was a serious defence but I tihnk Dino threw away so many units for nothing. Maybe earlier on multiple drops owuld have workedo ut well. He could reproduce his entire army in seconds so he would probably have kileld the terran bit by bit that way.

Also, correct me if I'm wrong but... Aren't you supposed to mix devourers up with mutas for max damage? Because pure devourers suck ass against any air without mutas tbh :s :p

its very common to see very very skilled zergs playing very very stupidly. (hi dimaga ^^)

also, queens are way underused. and devourers are way overused. only in very very rare situations should a zerg counter P or T air with air units (like a last island to destroy when Z has the rest of the map). in Dinot's game, just broodling // plague the shit out of the camping T and proceed to rape with hydras. zerg ground is far superior in quality vs cost. zergs should never go air (except a few guardians or mutas or scourges) when they face a camper and that there's only a slight chance that they might run out of resources. bottom line is zerg air is way too fuckin expensive and easily stormable or irradiatable or just eatable by BC's, carriers or corsairs. you can have a few air units but don't make it 80% of your army.

Zergs who go mass air after having built up a HUGE (-_______________-) HUGE advantage always end up in one of these ways;

1- they go air, get raped, proceed to rebuild the same army, and get raped again etc. repeat the pattern until your resources hit rock bottom and are forced to declare GG.

2- they end up by winning a very very very close game after being very tight on resources.

when you have that many bases and you just go queens/defilers/hydras/ultras. you'll max out at 200 very quickly and you'll just continue to build up resources. just use spell casters intelligently. ultras are hard to kill and have their health regenerating. hydras, just micro them properly, you wont lose many of them. again ==> you have most of the map and you're at 200/200 so your resources keep going up. you can easily find yourself at like 20k minerals, 10k gas. which means you have 20k minerals to face the camper. + gas is infinite even when depleted. with that much minerals, going ground is a sure ticket to victory. air is just dumb

his units were alright. guardians to counter some gols/turrets plus devourers to the bcs.. only thing lacking was a huge drop w ultras hydras + swarm.. all of these must be 1 big attack, this is better than slowly sacrificing all his units.
