exactly fusion. idra has more potential than most emissaries we have sent to korea because of his attitude, first and foremost.
good luck idra glad to have our first in-korea interview from you, hope you accomplish your goal of passing courage and i also look forward to seeing the effect your korean training will have on your play in foreign tournaments.
hope you can maintain the schedule out there

The skill gap is just too high. Leggionaire and Assem both were successful, which includes passing the old and new courage tournaments, so again a false fact. The skill gap to pass courage isn't too high at all either and I'm certain he'll eventually get it, especially considering he's supported by everyone and is comfortable/motivated in that situation.
Man obviously I don't count anyone that were in korea and did well which was a thousand years ago. As I already stated I didn't want to offend IdrA. He's good, there's not even a but!
I just pointed _HOW_ good koreans are.

so you remembered Grrr and ElkY but you can't remember Legionnaire or Assem that arrived into the progaming scene later? god you're an idiot, stop posting.

get off his ass ffs, he said he didnt mean to offend Idra.
So what if he didnt remember Leg or Assem. He obv had a pessimistic moment there, let it go.

exactly what i was going to say a-game, i don't understand what he's trying to achieve, i mean it's not very fucking often we see a non-Korean pro gamer nowadays, why the fuck wouldn't he cheer him on? i recall you asking for Korean language help in a thread you created, give up trying to learn Korean, you suck at it, you have no chance.
Doesn't feel so good does it?

go idra go
!

There were times when some crazy nicknamed Canadian ;]] dominated the Korean BW scene! Good Times, Good Times.
I can't see why a very determined foreigner shouldn't be as good as any Korean with as much training. Go Idra Go!

you can cheer him on, but you need to be realistic. he's not going to accomplish much, if anything.

He could. He has just as much chance as any of the amatuer Koreans.

The general problem with starcraft fans is that they cheer only for the top of the tops, while they ignore a major part of the other players. Thank god for all the girls who cheer for "potato-face" or "retardo" for whatever reason. Because it not only gives the players strenght, it gives more meaning to the competition of the lower ranks. Otherwise we could just jump to the finals and not televise the way to it.
We all know how high the level is, we all watch the foreigner vs korean events. We've all seen fallen legends beating the shit out of our best foreigners. If naked accomplishments alone are the fuel to fanboyism then being a fan would be very boring.
There is nothing wrong with being realistic, but it's inappropriate and impudent to the player who right now gives it his best. Sometimes it's just a nice gesture to wish someone luck and go out of your way without constantly expressing your negativism you build up because of your own failures.

GL IdrA you've got our support!
