I think every 6-12 months is good depends on the TL qualifiers aswell and how they are handled if thats sufficiant quality it will keep the masses happy.

I'd say twice a year would be the best. Too often will burn the prestige and there are alrdy enough Leagues like that. TSL still feel like a tournement or an event, like MLG, not a league. And its better like that.

Apparently I'm going against the grain here, but I do NOT understand holding back the TSL arbitrarily to once or twice a year. Happening rarely is not what makes it special IMO.

If you guys can get it together every two months or whatever I'd be a very happy nerd.

You aren't going against the grain. It's just a loud and ignorant minority that doesn't think more is merrier The majority voted to start it up!

I would wait simply so that at the beginning there is another lull in the tournament schedule. The qualifiers were really cool this time and if player have to choose between a TSL qualifier and NASL or Dreamhack or IPL or MLG that would be bad. So I say wait for a couple to wrap up then go again. I must remark once again that those involved in the TSL made it a wonderful experience. Thank you!

It was a bit painful, but I voted to keep it once a year. Part of what makes the TSL so special is that it is SUCH a big deal! If there was one every 2 months it would be a great tournament, but it would become just another tournament in a sea of events. Keeping the tournament to once a year keeps it as a big event to be excited about every time.
If the quarter was in your right hand, that would've been micro

twice a year to keep hype and do not lack on quality...also whoever voted for no more TSL's needs to leave this site and quit SC2...

If you have everything you need (money and time) to repeat the succes right now, then just go for it imo. So long as you don't compromise with the quality.

I think 2 per year would be a good number for the TSL...the whole tourney takes a while to complete and this would prevent it from becoming nonexistant but also rare enough to be treated as a classy tourney and a special honor.

Less frequent -> more prestigious -> More Attention -> Bigger prize pool

There's that moment, when you're checking TL for the fifth time today, and it's different. Gone is the front page, and in it's place is a blue star. At that moment, you know: it's on. You don't know any other details but maybe a date, but you know it will be amazing.

Very few things in StarCraft get me that pumped, that excited. I don't want that to change. I don't want to be checking the calendar going "Oh, they should be announcing TSL this week if they want to start it on time." Whether it's yearly or twice a year or whatever, just keep us on our toes about it.

it shouldn't be held too frequently so the hype and prize pool are much bigger, but only once a year is not good either. twice a year seems very reasonable.

i´d love a TSL like twice a year. Once is just not enough, and more than twice might ruin the uniqness of the event.

Maybe a Winter and Summer TSL

I think it should be once a year. It is more epic that way. I loved it, but it's like the world championship of football (soccer) every 4 years, the rarity of the event make it much more significant I think.

Also, don't oversaturate the market like the GSL is doing.

Oh no...

Please do not vulgarize the TSL.

Once a year make it special.
