I voted for once a year. I like the idea of keeping it special, like the NBA Playoffs. I've really stopped following the GSL because it's just non-stop; it makes winning one seem less impressive.

That said, the TSL3 was the best online tournament ever, in my view, so I'd love to see something similar from the geniuses at Team Liquid. Just maybe on a smaller scale if it's going to be more regular.

EDIT: While keeping the main event, of course.

imho once a year is too long, the tsl is too good for that. On the flipside the tsl is somewhat exclusive and really features the absolutely best of the best more or less and as such having it not too often sort of plays in its favor. Personally every 6 months would be great, like a spring tsl and an autumn tsl(or winter and summer, either way is good).

1 is perfect.
2 is fine. 1 every 6months.
4 is interesting since you can have 1 for each season of the year, Spring TSL, Summer TSL, Fall TSL, Winter TSL.

you can decorate the hype with seasonal decorations, so much can be done with this that i would even go as far as saying go for it 4 times a year, ;\

I'd say wait until July/August before starting up another TSL. A lot of people are more concerned right now with finishing up school/exams.

I feel 1 a year is a little too spread out, and now is too soon after the epic TSL3.

As soon as possible. Meaning if you think you can make it as big a success as TSL3 now, just go right ahead, i'll watch it from qualifiers to finals !

But I would rather that you waited, than rushing into setting up a half finished / half hearted tournament.

A) I want the TSL's prize pool to be sustainable
B) I don't want the TSL to feel like "yet another big tournament" that happens often. GSL is awesome, but it starts to lose its luster after having 6+ a year.
C) Why not stick with the traditional once a year? Keeps the hype huge, although we could have more spread out qualifiers
