When we started Teamliquid eight years ago, we had a vision of being the best StarCraft site in the world. Back then, this wasn't a very difficult accomplishment. What we didn't realize is what being the best SC site in the world could lead to. Teamliquid is an amazing place and it's a joy to be a part of TL's community. We have 150 staff members and nearly two million unique visitors per month -- it's all pretty surreal. For eight long years we ran this site as volunteers simply because we had a shared passion. I guess you could say we shared two passions, one being SC and one being TL. The first passion was at the base of our foundation, but the second one became more and more important over time.
After all these years of hard work and incredible dedication from our staff we find ourselves in an very interesting time. We have covered professional Brood War, ran the forums, and developed many awesome features without anyone ever being paid a penny until we ran the TSL2. Finally, we had a budget that allowed us to pay our staff who dedicated their time to our website. It wasn't very much money at all, but it was a start.
I guess where I'm heading with this is that I feel today's layout change is a good moment to talk a little bit about TL's direction. We are still the same people that ran this site for the past 8 years. We did so because today's opportunities simply did not exist. Pure dedication has gotten us really far. Sometimes this is also a bit of a burden, because we have created this image of TL that nothing is about money and that everything we do is driven by passion. While this holds true to a certain extent even today, we are also not saints. We do the things we do because we love them, but if we could turn TL into a website with income without sacrificing its integrity or principles, then this is something that we would absolutely love to do.
With this in mind you have seen certain minor changes such as the store and advertising buttons. Today's change is not a minor one. I have always loved our layout for it's nice-on-the-eye colors, for the horses that are connected to myself and Liquid in so many indirect ways and that have become part of my daily life for the past 8 years, and for the forums on the side that allowed TL to become the great community that it is today. Some have said our site looks ugly, but maybe it is just that you need to get used to it a little to appreciate how amazing the design was.
However, no matter how awesome we believe the design to be, it has also hurt us in a way. If we pitch a big proposal for something such as the TSL to a company, the first thing they will do is check out our site. The first thing they will see is blue horses, and the last thing they will see is any association with StarCraft. We may argue that these companies just have to realize how awesome TL is but unfortunately it doesn't work like that. The design though great and functional, was truthfully a bit outdated and needed a good makeover.
So why am I writing all this? What I want to tell you guys is that we will never change. We are the same exact group of people that we were before and we will continue to be that way in whatever we do. Today's design change I believe is a perfect example. It's new and pretty but it is TL all the way. Not only are the horses still there but we also added a horse logo! This may be somewhat extraordinary for a Starcraft website, but then again we have never settled for ordinary. We have always been different. Unique. We don't behave like most companies in this business or any business really. And it will always be that way.
Finally, I'd like to thank the people who made this all possible. Hundreds of hours have gone into design and discussion. Many thanks to disciple and Daigomi who were always there to help out, major props to Kennigit who came up with the brilliant idea of the horses in the background, and an unbelievable amount of respect for suffeli the creator of the logo and general theme of the layout. And last but not least thanks to R1CH for always being there to wizard things up.
With this somewhat emotional message behind us, I would like to ask for understanding. Understanding of where we want TL to be. We want this site to be the biggest and the best. We want to generate financial returns so that we can run more events and start rewarding our staff better, but not at the expense of our users, principles, or style. We need you guys to support us -- not financially, but simply by understanding our ambitions and dreams and the effects these will have on Teamliquid. We need you to know that beyond these superficial things, we will never change. The horses have returned, and they're here to stay.
nice new look. Too bad there wasn't a more radical site layout redesign, or at least options for different themes.. though admittedly that would be a lot of work.
Just perfect, great mix between being special and distinctive, which is what TL is and still modern and appealing to new users, I just can`t believe how good this looks.
It's simplisty what makes me find everything on this website! The logo is awesome and if the t-shirts aren't 1 size fits all and have this logo on it. I'll buy 1 for sure!
You should definatly make new TeamLiquid T-Shirts that would go with the new design. I'm sure most of the new members here would love to have a TL shirt.
New logo is really well done, but for the type, I'd suggest a typographers assistance. The type is quiete plain, distinction between team and liquid not very well done (stroke weight), and opticaly there is a hole around the letter "m". Also spacing shouldn't be metric, but hand made. Otherwise great work!
There seems to be an issue with the "Broodwar" menu to the left, in chrome. Looks fine in firefox, but in chrome it looks as if it has an extra border on the left.
I love it! I'm glad you went with a simple design and a simple color scheme. It's tempting, in the spirit of sc2 pretty 3d gfx and lasers, to go with more visually busy but I like this a lot. That logo especially I feel is well done.
A little comment, some parts of the site look older than others For example the top banner looks really modern, then some of the side and middle panels look half and half of new/outdated elements. Kind of sticks out a bit. Maybe my brain is too accustomed to the old TL and is creating an unusual contrast between new and old elements atm hehe But I think its a great improvement, woo TL!
Great to finally see it implemented after seeing the devellopment process it went through. It looks amazing, kudos to all involved for putting down the time and effort required.
Cheers for the last 8 years and to many more years and great things to be accomplished.
There seems to be an issue with the "Broodwar" menu to the left, in chrome. Looks fine in firefox, but in chrome it looks as if it has an extra border on the left.
This seems to the the result of zooming in on the page, as it's up to the browser how this is handled there isn't much we can do about it. Try viewing at a normal zoom depth and it should go away.
Great new design! I really love it. It looks a lot more professional and new people won't think "wtf fantasy-horses ?!? - what is this site about?" when they first reach TL.net!
A little thing that is still missing though is a small team page. I know there's the liquipedia article, but especially with TLAF-Liquid members fighting in Korea, there should be an extra team section, where people can learn about TLAF-Liquid and its players if they want to (besides Liquipedia)!
(Then again - every shit clan has a team-members page but Team Liquid is very special and so much more than a "clan". Maybe we don't need that ^^)
As a somewhat new member of TL, I have to agree with this message. A very good organizational move by TL. While I do respect the "old school" ness of how long they have been around, change isn't always bad and this is one step in the right direction.
I wasn't hear for the sc1 or broodwar times and wasn't around to appreciate the building of their reputation. However, I'm here now and I can appreciate the site for what it is in its current state. A fresh banner for this site is exactly what it needed.
I;m really drunk and I like this new banner. However, I have been a member since 2004 and I have a sense of nostalgia about the old banner. Me right now wish older banner be back now. ok?
Haha yeah way better than the old logo, still you yet looks pro. I always remember wondering if I was on the right starcraft site when I first visited a few years back after seeing the logo haha.
So happy to see the horses in the background, love the new Logo as well (new T-shirts?). The new design is lovely, so awesome! TL only gets better. I'm so happy to have known this website.
Looks great, but the one thing that bothers me is that the subtitle isn't centered properly under 'teamliquid'. And also the line under 'teamliquid' isn't centered either.
The sidebar font is a bit hard to read. It was much clearer before.
I am usually a traditionalist on hard (although I registered only last year, I have been lurking this website since the eraly stages of BW), but I have to say it looks amazing.
Very nice face-lift. Keeping the same look but making it more clean and crisp. I will give this a score of 8/10 (and I'm really critical when it comes to web design), if there was a minor overhaul on the fonts (line-heigt, spaceing, size) that would be great to.
Thnx for a great site.
PS. For TL.net I will even disable my addblock =).
Copying from the other thread: Is it just me or is the text for the forum sections slightly blurry? Like News, General Forum and Starcraft 2 etc.
Nooo you moved the search box like Wikipedia did! I really dislike having forum search button on the other side of the forum section, why did you move it?
Other than that I really like it, looks cleaner than before so it not only retains what I like about the TL website the most but improves it.
I would like it if hitting features or video would bring me to a page, just as the other mouse over pages do. That way I can click twice instead of using mouse over. (Never been a fan of mouse over.)
i'm not sure why the amount of visitors is not being disclosed on that cool chart but i guess there's a good reason for it. it'd be cool to see TL 'go big'. i'm not sure how that'd look though.
seriously though, i thought the navigation was simpler before. I wanna get to Liquibet. Before: Click on the 'Liquibet" link. Now: Move mouse over 'Features', move mouse over "Liquibet', click it. meh. I also don't get it why you put practically every link you have on the left and right side of the main page in the drop down menu bar at the top, whatever you call it. Also the colour doesn't really fit imho. The new banner has a nice, dark blue but the drop down thing below it.. ah well. I thought it was cool when it looked the same way as the left side of the page. Also the font you use now for the headings at the left side is indeed kinda blurry
Very nicely done. The integration of the old and new has been pulled off superbly.
I admit, I was a touch apprehensive about the change. I'll probably have nostalgia now and again regardless, but this far exceeded my expectations. Nicely done.
Looks awesome! With so many effort and visitors it would be weird not to try and make a living with it/let it pay itself/earn money to do cool stuff, so good luck with that!
Big props to you teamliquid. The design is very nice and it keeps the spirit of teamliquid. And I especially appreciate the new menu, it makes browsing easier. I have always compared the TL website with Google, the thing is simple and there was a lot of hidden features that you almost have to find by yourself. Now it's all here and that's nice.
Yep, looks way better and more modern. Guess I was right with "going with the times" and it fits perfectly. Even the horses are still there! Way to go TL ! <3
Love the new design, glad you guys found a tasteful way of keeping the horses in the banner and yet updating it. They were definitely unique and a big part of the identity of the site. Good to know they'll always be watching over us as we keep visiting for years to come.
I really like the Administrator's dark blue post header, such as Hot_bid on the first page.
The main links below the new (awesome) banner are much better organized and is what a sponsor will want to see. Thumbs up, this is certainly heading in the right direction.
Awesomesauce. I must say, I like this way better than the old one. In this one, there are still horses, but it is more slick. Plus the drop down options. Nice going TL.
I always thought the horses were hilariously random. There's probably some story to go along with them though, and it's good to see them stay as it's really the first thing anyone notices the first time they come to TL.net. The new design looks amazing and props to the guys behind it!
Well, why not also ask for people to support you financially? Or not ask, but say, hey, if you like us and want to support us, send us some cash. A simple paypal donate button might generate some nice extra income.
Great job guys! I'm even more proud to be part of this community, after seeing the work you guys are constantly putting in to improving the site, it's content and it's design. :D
edit: Wow! I was so excited to see this that I didn't even notice the horses in the background too! Excellent!
in fact, i love the way how TeamLiquid is right now, compared to other forums.. they were much messier when it comes to navigation, and getting the things you want.. i just love simplicity..
I'm one of the new people that went looking for Sc2 beta streams when it started. The first impression of TL wasn't great and it took a while to realise that this was the starcraft site. The new design is so slick but without changing the great functionality. The new menu is nice as well, very useful but not obnoxious. Generally when a site does a facelift there's always something to dislike about it but I can't find anything in this case. Great work.
The explanation why you would need to change the banner plus the execution makes me happy. Before the new banner I thought why would you change it? NOO! But now it looks beautiful and I love that the horses are still there!!
I joined a few times before the SC2 beta came out fow BW strats, but never really stayed. After SC2 beta was out I joined and thought the horses were pretty outdated. I could understand that they were part of TL history but thought so nonetheless and grew to become a bit fond of this banner. But this one is much more sleek and will be more cool to newer people.
NICE... i just realized the horses were in the background after you said it... hahahaa Awesome new banner first i was like what? but now I like this new one as much as I did the old one TL and BW FOREVER!!!

get rid of the dropdown menus imo. the site is well laid out enough that you don't need to simplify it with clutter. removing it makes the site look cleaner and i think you should keep it that way

There is stuff in the dropdowns which is not accessible otherwise....
The site looks great but a lot of forums do have better software i must say. The search function on this site tilts me if you look at other forum layouts such as Vbulletin they have way more functionality.
I have a question about advertising revenue - most sites don't advertise right near the top of their site that everyone sees first thing. Do you get more money for placement of the ads? Otherwise, why not move the site layout up and put the ads below in the whitespace?

For the rest i like the design on the site. :-)
vbb certainly has some good features, but it's also really overloaded. Everything here is custom coded. I'm not part of the coding team, so I'm not sure if any forum upgrades are planned right now, but feel free to use the website feedback forum for concrete ideas.
can't help but wish the new look was a little more extensive. the new banner and menu bar look fantastic, but do little to fix the broader issue with the site. it looks like a site which has had small little features tacked on one-by-one over a long period of time. functionally they're all absolutely great, but together they're definitely straining the coherency of the overall design.
15 different shades of blue? 20 different strong horizontal lines?
i think it would be great if you could take it a step further and consolidate the colour scheme and some of the spacings, especially the horizontal ones.
Love the new look, it's kinda retro with the L&F of the site, kudos
Though one comment, why don't you put the search field in the blue bar? There seems to be room and it's taking up more real estate on the site than it should be.
Maybe I'm stuck in the past, but the new banner doesn't look right to me. Why not make this new one the default, and give registered users the option to switch layouts to the old one?
Don't get me wrong, the new design looks beautiful. I just can't help but feel that the last connection to the old, pioneering BW site has been severed.
Looks awesome, not too big of a change, so I dont really understand some ppl wishing to switch to the old design, since this is just a better version of the old one, I dont see this as a new site, just enhaced design because the old one was rather outdatet. Good job
I can tell a lot of care and discussion was put into this, and the results are great. Many professional companies only wish they could make such smooth transitions, even when spending a ton of money on advertising and consulting. I love this site.
"Many professional companies only wish they could make such smooth transitions"
Well I dont really think thats a valid statement, professional companies have much more complex sites usualy and they do make a great job, else they wouldnt be professional !
Looks awesome, although I have to be honest with you here, I thought that during the update, Broodwar forum section would finally be called Brood War as it should.

you could have those buttons lead to a new section, or add them to the sidebar
On August 22 2010 23:23 Kerotan wrote: Halfway between love and meh, I really liked the horses.
In fact put it this way, I love the new look, I'm just sad that old look has gone, it had so much heritage, but I'm glad that the new layout and banner stay reasonably faithful to the original design, and even the waterfall menus at the top function better than I expected them to.
So all in all, good job guys, you had an up hill battle because we are a very tough crowd.
My response in the vote thread.
After I read this though, my view has changed, I'm now behind this 100% percent and I totally understand the reasons for doing it.
New face, same spirit, I love TeamLiquid and TL fighting!
Looks awesome! Thanks for the explanation about the direction of TL too, I had a little knee-jerk reaction to the getting paid part but you guys definitely deserve to be paid for all the hard work you guys do. Glad to hear it!
*points at the spike where sc2 was announced* yup.. im one of those.. the site looked fairly ok.. then i got used to it and it was pretty awesome.. the new rewamp of the site looks really good.. not revolutionary.. just finetuned .. gj!
Hey, just noticed something relatively minor, there's no more search button so you can't middle click it to open a search result in a new tab any more.
New look, same Seoul. TL used to be the 70s house you walk into and you see those horrid tiles and carpet floor. Now TL is a house full of that rich, modern steel and glass stuff, the kinda house with a huge portrait of TL in a speedo over the fireplace, greased up of course..
I saved my 3000 post for this. To say thank you Teamliquid for being the best, for giving so much to the SC community, not compromising your core values, and most importantly, for appreciating that the fans are what make you great.
imo, the sidebar headers for general, sc2, etc. should have the same background as the topbar buttons, they seem a little out of place. But other than that I really like it.
Yeah, definitely a good change. The site looks less like it's coming to you from the early 2000s. It's weird how just the design of a website can seem to date it.
I love you TL, I played a lot of games, but SC will forever be the one game that I love the most. Thank you TL, thank you TL staffs. You guys are the best in the world. Sick new look btw!!!
Great job youu guys. I was extremely skeptical about the banner change but I think it looks great. BTW does anyone else think it looks like the Terran logo?
The old horses were great, but like everything else, it must be changed for the sake of a betterment. As long as the soul still gallops with the horses of past, everything will be fine.
The new banner is like the new game, still based on the good ol' but still new and perfect in a new way. The old one will be remembered (you could show it like once a year on TLs Bday?) but I love the new one.
The site looks great. Most importantly, the new menu system is really a step up on the usability of the site. My *only* suggestion/complaint is that the headers and lettering for the side column sections like 'Power Rank' and 'Poll' seem a little plain. Other than that you guys nailed it. Great work and thanks for your efforts.
I fuckin love new design. It's same old TL style but at the same time completely new. So sleek yet at the same time I feel like nothing has changed at all. Great great great great.

Well said. I respect TL a lot for this.
I'm overall very happy with the new banner, as it preserves the old one, however I'd like it if the designer considers post factum optimizations, after the banner has been used for some time (say, a week or two). My first impression is that it might be a little too dark - I know it is for better contrast with the white text on the sides, but still could be a bit lighter. And it just naturally made me think that it misses some barely visible psionic matrix on the blue sides, which would add a purely starcraft element as well.
I've visited TeamLiquid.net since way back, in the SC1 time, and I didn't visit it for many years until the beta was announced, and i've always hated that banner, it is beyond ugly. Glad you decided to change it after all of these years.
Other than that this is an amazing site and I am very impressed with how the page has grown.
Holy shit...Shit's changing everywhere. My font looks different, HotBid's name doesn't have a post count, says Admin, Nazgul's doesn't have shit either, and the news article title is in the same bar as his name
Looks great, I am admittedly one of those users who have jumped on the boat once SC2 beta was out and about. Still in my limited time here it's been one of the best communities I've been a part of and I love the new design.
I didn't even realize the design changed until I started reading that the design changed... only thing that stood out was the logo been F5ing ever since it started closing xD
I would have preferred to see the original banner slightly brighter, it's very dark right now. Didn't see it until I was told it was there. It is nice, though.
The side bars are a step backwards, but it's minor enough to be irrelevant.
I woke up this morning and turned on my comp, looked at Teamliquid.net My face lit up as I heard Beethoven's 9th Symphony in Brain. Twas a beautiful moment. Cheers TL.net
Great job TeaLiquid! The new banner looks fantastic! I love the new logo and the modern design, while the banner itself still contains the horses running in the background for the old-time users - very creative and professional! The other site changes in terms of organization and just new polish look great too.
I also really respect what TLAF-Liquid'Nazgul said about the site's vision to continue to be an evolving community (and the best StarCraft website in the world!) while remaining fundamentally the same at its core. The desire to pay the TeamLiquid staff is absolutely understandable, as it's clear that they put in a ton of work and really do have a passion for this community. I know that as a college student, I've heard advice from many people, telling me that when embarking on a career, I should find something that I could do every day of my life for free, and then find a way to get paid for doing just that. It seems as though TeamLiquid has adopted a very similar principle, and I couldn't agree more with it!
On August 22 2010 18:17 Khyrandor wrote: You should definatly make new TeamLiquid T-Shirts that would go with the new design. I'm sure most of the new members here would love to have a TL shirt.
I agree! However, what if they combined this idea with an official TLAF-Liquid jersey (talked about in the last update)? Would you still want a TeamLiquid shirt, or just the jersey if it was up to the high-quality standards on TeamLiquid and it wasn't one-size-fits-all?
I have to say, I was a fan of the simplicity of the old site, but I'm happy with this as well. It's still simple, but also more efficient and a little easier on the eyes. It gets my approval.
It has been an absolute honor and privilege being a part of this amazing community, Thanks for everything and I have absolute faith you guys won't change in the important stuff .
I dig it. I'm new so it doesn't mean much but I would agree that the original banner didn't exactly scream "hey you've reached the right place for all your SC needs"
wow, SO GOOD loving the potential for over analysis xD "A new banner that veils the old one? It's just like saying we have a new, updated look but we're still the same behind all the flashy gimmicky stuff!"
Hmmm, if you're willing to change the logo for better endorsement deals, who's to say that you won't make another compromise to get even better deals? Don't get me wrong, I think the site looks great and a lot more professional. But I just really hope that you won't compromise on the spirit of TL!
Hmm... Looking back, I kind of loved the fact that the site didn't feel the need to flaunt some designation; it didn't give a damn and didn't have to - it was Teamliquid and it was awesome, as was the nothing-to-do-with-sc-whatsoever banner. I don't mind the look part of the new look that much, or even the idea behind it, just whenever anything or anyone decided to become more "serious" and "professional", it has very rarely proven to be a good thing in the long run. Hopefully, it's only the design in this case (or if not, that it proves to be one of those rare exceptions). If not, you can always rename this post to "New Look, No Soul."
Fears of potential soulless lickspittling for a few measly bucks aside, the new banner looks amazing, props to the design team!
God I can't stand the search bar on the top right. Why does every god damn site feel the need to change their look? Go for familiarity, features and working environment, anyone? Changes NEVER feels right.

haha you'll get over it. this redesign is hardly that much of a change anyway, and looking at it from a usability standpoint I'd definitely say it's significantly improved.
if we're going to be sticklers about it, then I'd agree that the search bar does feel a bit "unbalanced" in the header as it is right now (the white input field is a bit too bright/jarring as #fff). might I suggest a subtle, slightly darker gradient background image to use for that input field? more in line with the color/shade of the "team" in the main logo?
I absolutely have no problem with you guys making a little money on the side, because you all honestly deserve it... as long as all the current features remain intact that is.
This looks great, i have introduced so many people to TL and they have always found the site to be outdated looking. But this new layout looks really great. I am happy that TL is thriving the way it is!
The opinions expressed on our forums do not reflect the views and opinions of TeamLiquid.net or its staff. lol^^ this is the only thing that has me wondering about your soul.
I was hopping you would take the occasion to switch to a more modern html/css, like in the inner html of http://www.teamliquid.net/vods/ but I guess it would be a lot of work! Congrats on the new layout!
Love the new slick look with the original designs faded in the background. For people who have seen the horses for years, those horses are a reminder to all of us where we came from, and to stay true to ourselves.
Well thanks to TL staff for the great work unfortunately my english skills are limited therefore I cannot fully express my gratitude but anyway thank you very much, your efforts are really appreciated.
Nice banner by the way. While I may or may not be fond of the background image which is if I'm not mistaken the old banner, I really love the overall design as well as the layout and colors.
Also I think this is a great move for you guys. I remember coming to this site before SC2, when I was trying to get into SC1 to prep for it, and I just saw that horses banner and I was like wow this must be some tiny really gay old SC clan... It undoubtedly has its history and place in many peoples' hearts, but it honestly left a terrible first impression and your new look is much more sleek and will do you well in your business endeavors.
It's beautifull, indeed. I've never understood why the horses where there to begin with, I just kinda get used to them. And they're still there, that's a good thing, mean this community is changing, but to something better and is not forgetting it's past. Long live TL, congratulations, you have my support. This just keeps getting better and better.
It looks great, but I'm kind of disappointed that they unveiled an awesome new layout and it STILL only uses up 2/3 or so of my monitor's horizontal size. The giant white bars down the sides continue to be my biggest issue with this site.
New banner/logo is fantastic though! I'd love to get a shirt with that horse on it!
It's so relieving to see such a strong update and awareness that this community won't change. The update gives me a feel that TL has well adapted with the technological advances and is keeping up to the "vibe". Good job and hope it lasts as long as it can.
THE HORSES ARE STILL THERE!!! THIS IS FUCKING AWESOME!
Seriously the website is pretty slick. I gotta say since I realized you were changing I have been imagining different designs for the site but this one kick my ideas ass. Slick, modern, easy to browse and very organized.

that was the first thing that came to my mind when I read the header, nice to see that they were mature enough not to go for the obvious one. ( i definitely would have;) )
love the new sleek look,it now looks more professional, the old style started to look like an old self-made pixel style forum.
It looks freaking awesome!!! I really loved the logo, the shield, the design of the horse and the stripes. pure imagination.
But i want to know something, and please don't hate me for asking! is just that i loved the changing backgrounds all the time :D so does this means that the TL Background will still change right ??? or it will stay the same for the next month or more ? Cz it was always funny/nice/enjoyable, to see the different backgrounds that you guys designed (some pretty hilarious)

I think old picture was cultural wonder that should not have been changed. I know its underneath the current picture as fade, but still that sc2 modded picture of horsie is not my taste. Icon should be more innotive than that. Anyways it's not easy job to make new cool graphics.
Maybe add and option to turn old graphics to us who do find old horsies epicness must needed evil.
I was liked TL.net for its simplicity and through out the years you will get randoms coming on here criticizing its "old" look but you guys have done a great job of modernizing while not killing the spirit of the old site.
The new feel is quite sharp and professional. The icon preserves the horse which is cool and very faintly in the background of the title bar you can see the old horse background. All in all I think you guys did a very good job of preserving who you were and yet modernizing and making things more polished.
One nit pick is on large 16 screens I get the login/password box popping off to the left hand side quite a bit so that the screen isn't prismatic the full way down.
I was wrong in the other thread, the site looks just as great on my phone as it does on the computer. The drop down menues don't quite work right, but that's an issue with my phone not the site itself. Anything that I usually read on the go is perfectly easy to get at.
As a recent enthusiast and Starcraft 2 zealot, I'd love to read more about the actual horses them selves. I always thought that they were kind of conspicuous, however I have slowly come to appreciate them. They're disregard for anything Starcraft related makes them an identity, so in that sense I understand their purpose. But do they have any real discernible meaning? Are they symbolic of anything, are they a metaphor for the community or team?
Teamliquid for me was an awkward acclimation into a deep thriving yearning for Starcraft information. At first, I was unsure of exactly what I was looking at, but as I delved deeper the site really began to take a hold over me. Anyway, I very much like the new website, and I hope my curiosity about the horses is answered.
