The litlte bit at the end of Rob Pardo's quote was what made me laugh. Also, the Korean bit. It had very little to do with the promod.

However, I am completely in support of the changes you guys made. I have no absolutely no problem with an updated SC1. I'd buy it and still appreciate it. Why fix what isn't broken, you know? I think that people who want a completely new game will just be disappointed.

... and to the people who think its too early because it isn't yet April 1st in America... please remember that TL.net is all about KST.

This actually fooled me until I saw the part where you were restoring the BW dragoon AI. I was going "wait, how can TL possibly be this stupid?" until then - and at that point, it changed to "okay, TL can't possibly be this stupid." Very well done.

If I had the beta, I probably would install a mod that added an IRC client to battle.net (and nothing else), though.

oh man. I just got to work, turn on the site and read this and was like WOOOOAAAHHH. I thought the ideas were awesome and everything looked good, besides some comments were like WTF (observer on turret/canon/spore disables it = LOL). All the zerg mod was wicked especially with queen nest (free map spam), but Roach attacking air, biological = only shoots muta, LOL. Read to the end and bought it all, then realised 1st April... DAMN!!!

3 cheers for firebat/hellion build in rax - imagine the rushes available.

Anyway loved the whole thing. You guys were brilliant.

As soon as the Galaxy Editor comes out, I vote that someone make a "real" version of this mod. It would be utterly, completely hilarious...and totally and completely imbalanced and unsuited for competitive play. Maybe then everyone will stop complaining about SC2.

Marauders scooting around laying spidermines, Queens running around the map building hatches, Tiny Thors...oh, the ecstasy! Someone...make it so!

Still, some of those would be changes make a lot of sense, like the Stalker attack animation would look a lot better as an orb instead of lasers. Blizzard really needs to improve visibility ><
