The DTs aren't going to find a mafia or pledge running for office, so we're not going to learn anything from their check. Better that they pick people who are voting oddly (LOL HALF OF THE PEOPLE ON ME. YEAH, THATS RIGHT), or people who are outspoken but not in the running. The office is going to come down to faith for all but 2 people. Me and BC know our roles. The only issue I can see with my suggestion would be if BOTH BC and I are mafia aligned, but if that was the case I wouldn't have waited close to 2 days to say this. If anyone disagrees and thinks we're actually going to catch someone or reduce our fear of godfather by checking me and BC for any unused DT checks, voice your concern. Otherwise I think its a better idea if, say, pyrr or one of those early 4 bandwagoners on me get checked. | ||

On the assumption that both L and I haven't been checked and that neither of us was double checked, I would say check one of the early bandwagoners would be a good bet to check, I would however check one of the people who have voted with no justification if they have not been active in this thread. Please note no special abilities (except for weather voting) can be used on Day 1. Assassinations cannot take place on Night 2. And from Plexa's post on page 10: When do I activate my ability? Please PM Plexa with your selected choice of ability during the Day. So mafia has tonight to get lucky with hits, and tomorrow dts can role check. Town is essentially screwed if both L and BC are mafia aligned, and one of them is Godfather. Godfather can use cover on the other, and they'd both pop up town aligned. That's if I'm understanding the rules correctly. Either way, it makes it harder for the dts when they can act, as not only is there the risk of Godfather, but also the risk of cover. It might even make more sense to randomly rolecheck someone. They'd have a 1/38 shot of getting the Godfather, but if it was someone who has been kinda low-key, I wouldn't see the Godfather wasting cover on them. | ||

provided they're innocent, either would make good a good emp. but not as good as me. although its a little late, since we have lots of hours left to vote and since the votes look about even, i'd like to announce my run for emperor. i could write a post about why i'm qualified and other assorted crap, but i honestly dont think it'd make a difference-- we're all familiar with each others playing styles. so i made some quick notes instead: -i pretty much just need the BG protection while i analyze -i run a tight ship, i'm not easy to trick, and i'm accurate -it'll be easy to tell if i'm dirty: with BG protection, i have no reason to lay low. which means if i'm innocent i'll be actively hunting the mafia (and getting them too). anyway-- thats my platform. vote for the babyhands. | ||

I assume you're just running for emperor because you know L/BC are going to lynch you first, which explains you're lack of any useful information. And if you do happen to get elected, if you don't kill a mafia first night I'm sure BC/L and other important players are going to move to lynch you the next day. That being said I'm sure you've already figured out someone who is mafia (under the assumption that you are not mafia of course) so you should just probably come out with it now, or at the very least PM the important people about it. Either way you're time alive is very short, if you have useful information you're better off sharing it, not making useless posts about running for emperor with some "quick notes" that are as useless as JeeJee's campaign. | ||

So if i get elected, I will make a list of people, and randomize which of them dies. Also note, MBH is one of the few people whos orientation becomes apparent usually fairly quickly. So he would not be day 1 auto lynch (if hes green or blue town gets fucked hard). So by day 2-3 town would easily have his orientation pegged. | ||
