FAQ:
How do I join?
Simply type /in in the thread. No hydras or smurfs are allowed.
What is this game?
Each player is given an alignment along with the identity of a TL Mafia Player, which includes powers that fit the flavor of the player's identity. The list of possible "identities" in this game will be comprised of players who are participating in the game.
- Some personalities have post restrictions.
- Some personalities have secondary objectives.
- Some personalities are required to perform some action.
- Some personalities have some pretty batsh*t crazy mechanics.
This game will likely end up as a dubiously balanced wonky themed game, and you shouldn't take it super seriously if you join. Overall, my goal is a game where players can laugh at some of the mechanics and at each other for a week or two.

That's right. I will do my best to balance things and make things fun for the game. Please note the following disclaimers:
- I cannot guarantee that things will be balanced or that I am a good host.
- Since I will be basing roles in this game off of participants, they will be based off of my subjective and biased interpretations of your personality/playstyle. You may find these interpretations not-funny or offensive.

General Mechanics:
This is a Closed Setup. The game will begin on a 24-hour Night 0. Subsequent days and nights will be 48 hours and 24 hours respectively.
There will be a majority lynch at the end of every day unless mechanics specify otherwise.
There is a Town Faction and one or more Mafia Factions. There may or may not be one or more 3rd Parties present in the game (roles which have win conditions that are not traditional town or mafia win conditions). The # of mafia and mafia KP are not public knowledge.
Town wins when all mafia and anti-town 3p are eliminated from the game.
Mafia wins when the # of mafia in their faction outnumber the # of remaining players, and all threats to the mafia are eliminated (town KP, 3p actions, or otherwise).
While I encourage roleplaying, there are anti-claim mechanics in this game. While players are allowed to post the contents of their role PM's and disclose their "identities", think very carefully before claiming your role-name or powers.
The relationship between "identity" and "alignment" is random (i.e. an "identity" based on a player known for town-play is not necessarily going to be a town role).

Knowing my own holiday schedule, I think there's a high likelihood that myself (or a player) could step away from the game for 24 hours, which would make things difficult.
I was thinking of simply extending the deadlines, either 72h per day, or just have a very extended christmas day phase.

Sorry sorry I have to delay the start a bit. Bit crazy at work for the past two days. I expect to start this by the end of the week. Also, every new join-ee requires us to make a role and rebalance.

If HF is going to join tomorrow, I'll likely hold out for him to join, because 13 players would be a good sized setup that is easy to balance for this game.

Day 1:URGENT NEWS:Liquidia News reports that rioters have stormed the Hosting Capitol. The Hosting government is in disarray and will not be able to votecount all day. Dandel Ion, the leader of the rioters, has seized hosting authority and has imposed Plurality Lynch on the thread. Dandel Ion is also un-targetable by votes and day actions for all of Day 1. Hapahauli is currently unguarded and vulnerable, though, he has still retained the power to properly resolve day actions. The National Guard is being mobilized, but it will take time for them to arrive to the scene. Order will not be restored until the end of Day 1. Hapahauli has pledged to reverse and undo all damage caused as a result of Dandel Ion's actions when order is restored. Liquidia News has heard from a reliable source that Dandel Ion has seized control of the communications office in order to send 1 PM to each player, but this reporter cannot confirm their contents. Players do not have the power to respond to these PMs.

All he could do to amuse himself was to troll tryhards and flame scrubs. One day, as he sat watching the Sheep and the quiet forest, and thinking what he would do should he see a nuke, he thought of a plan to amuse himself. The town had told him to call for help should a nuke appear on the horizon, and the town would launch an anti-nuke. So now, though he had not seen anything that even looked like a nuke, he ran towards the village shouting at the top of his voice, " Nuke! Nuke!" As he expected, the townies who heard the cry dropped their work and ran in great excitement to the anti-air defenses around the pasture. I am ending the game because mafia has confirmed knowledge of all town roles in game, and with that knowledge, it is impossible for town to block mafia KP tonight. In a 3 mafia vs. 3 non-mafia scenario, it is impossible for town to achieve majority lynch conditions on any target.

Some brief hosting thoughts (I'll post some larger setup reflections later):
1) The game was pretty simple: mafia sat back and watched while town ate itself alive. Town was incredibly close to figuring things out (and there was a great deal of anti Dandel Ion and TicTock sentiment in thread), but they couldn't quite put it together.
2) My approach to the setup was to try to make everything super imbalanced and hope that somehow balanced things. I think this setup ended up being very town-favored in any event.
3) There were anti-claim mechanics in this game (see Tictock's role PM - Holyflare Identity). I gave mafia a hidden bonus Day KP if TT guessed 3 identities correctly (which he used to shoot Yamato). Mafia would have obtained a mass night roleblock if they guessed 6 identities.
