This means that his play so far has been his standard townplay, and all the cues we used to read him as mafia for are useless.
It also makes it interesting to evaluate those who pushed hard for rels, if they maybe were mafia looking for easy lynch target, trying to deflect votes off sulfurus.

Wait, guys I'm actually confused. getrip was voting for Sulf but switched to Rels once Trfel made his post. It seems he was suspecting both at some point. It's unfortunate that they're both the most suspicious people as well and our strongest cases for Mafia. I am so confused.

The deadline for each cycle will be 16:00 MDT (-06:00).
That's what I see in the rules. And that matches with what the vote count posts show. If I log out, it still says the same thing, so it's not like it's customizing it based on my location or something.

Whoa, wait a second. That does NOT match what the vote count posts show. They show 17:00 MDT, which is what that post USED to say. Someone changed the deadline after the game started, is what it looks like.

Not only that, but both Sulfurus AND Rels were two of our top suspects as Mafia. I can't shake off the feeling that getrip just really screwed up by accident and we were jumping on it for no reason.
Either way, I think that everyone should look over everything again.

My head is pretty busted after geript flipped town.
There's so many connections floating around in my head, so many possibilities, so many questions.
I feel like the game is opening up right now, a lot of loose threads to weave together.
I'll take a good night sleep and reevaluate tomorrow with a clear head, but i somehow sense that there is a pattern to all this supposed chaos.

I don't know that the result of the Day would have been ANY different (because my attempts to defend geript did not get a single person to move their vote off of him yet, and in fact 2 more people moved their vote ONTO him after I tried to defend him) but it's "still kinda lame."

This is why I was disappointed to see the surge against geript ignite (aside from the fact that batsnacks' reasoning against him was garbage), because I felt like we had a REAL reason to think that one of the two original vote leaders was scum. I still feel that way now.
As far as which of them is MORE likely to be scum, and which of my town reads become stronger based on the result of the lynch, I should re-read a few things first, and get back to you later.

Yeah only thing I'll say about this but I feel like Geript was going down regardless of any errors. I certainly wasn't around to shout anything. As far as the lynch itself, I know I thought he was slipping earlier but that was one of the reasons I was attempting to re-evaluate him. Slips just aren't likely most of the time.

I agree with this but I think there was also a decent chance Geript was scum outside of the supposed 'slip' and you could see that people were attempting to coordinate or starting to rally around the idea before Batsnacks' post. The question is, did scum see an easy out once he posted and jump on or ignore it entirely? At this point I'd go with the easy out option. I still see absolutely no reason why Sulfurus isn't scum here. AND him and Rels still looked scummier than Geript at the end of the day so some close evaluation is necessary.

Really? damdred asked who was scum/town. And you said a bunch of stuff about what geript's opinions were on who might be scum. Presumably because we now know for certain that his opinions came from a Townie, and are not obfuscation in any way. So you talk and talk about Sulfurus and Rels, since those are both players geript voted against. But you completely IGNORE that geript said the Vigilante should KILL BATSNACKS.
