Do disagree with you on tube on the responses thing though. Yeah, it's a fair amount of effort but what matters more here is the reads tube has, the reasonings, the behaviour, the methods through which he responds. Also I think the policy/mislynch stuff from his previous game is really damning. Tone wise he doesn't seem so wildly aggressive when he plaus town but who knows. He may genuinely be frustrated. I am nowhere near as confident on this dude as I was on LS but he has contributed nothing and will likely continue to contribute nothing given his attitude and stance re: the game, which to me is in contrast to the attitude he displayed in previous games where he rolled town. As for Breske I agree that he did not do all that much but my intuition points to town based on the manner in which he responded to particular happenings in the thread. Look at behaviour and perspective more than participation, because motives are more useful to analyze than play characteristics like effort or post count or whatever else you can come up with. Those types of traits only matter when they support or rule out particular scenarios regarding a player's thought process. Tomorrow: BM or tube. If we get a scum flip we auto lynch the other dude. We get a town flip and we need to start considering players like Onegu, Breske, Shining, Shockey, bats, but I don't find anything super outlandish about the way they are playing right now. Those players need to participate tomorrow so of course it would be useful to hear from all of them individually. At this point I would expect townies to have reasonable reads on the game so if anything seems out of place about someone's opinions and we end up lynching a townie, chances are they are a good bet to be scum. | ||

"The Coven grows stronger with each passing day, as more and more of the lay people of the town join their ranks. Wittingly, as acolytes, or unwittingly, they turn their backs on The Lord. Their souls are outside the vision of god, beyond salvation. This blasphemy must be stopped." The Witch Hunter counts his bullets and cleans his pistol. He doesn't have enough ammunition to cleanse the town on his own. "My congregation shrinks each week," muses the Priest. "Fell forces draw them away from the church. Even the children seem possessed." The Witch Hunter scowls. Outside the normal bounds of his jurisdiction, he doesn't have the strength of arms or the legal authority to do what he'd like to these witches. Caution rather than aggression must rule him this day. The map in front of them shows a quadrillage of the town's districts, marked with who still attends church, who doesn't, and who is probably a witch. Perhaps if they had just 10 strong god-fearing men with muskets, they might be able to put a stop to the blasphemers and apostates without needing to kill anyone. As it was, they would need to figure out who the leaders are and take them out. The Witch Hunter's bullets needed count for a lot in these troubled times. A knock on the door-- who comes to church during midday on a Tuesday? The Priest opens the door and finds himself facing an abomination, an un-man, a creature from the deep so foul that his eyes cannot focus on it and make out its form. For a moment, they regard each other, each surprised to see the other, each not knowing that to do. With a cry, The Priest draws out his cross and brandishes it before him, hoping that a crucifix might drive it back. The un-man gurgles at him happily, ravenously, greedily. Its (lips? jaws? maw? who can say?) gapes open as it lurches forwards hungrily, seeking to devour the man of God. The Priest stumbles backwards, too alarmed to recite the holy writ, too astonished to see something no man should see to understand what he should do. At that moment, he might have been devoured by the Avatar of Greed were it not for the Witch Hunter’s's quick action. The Witch Hunter threw back the shutters on the stained glass window of the Holy Mother, and the light came through blessedly, scorching the Avatar of Greed. It could not stop lurching forwards, trying to devour the Priest, even as doing so brought it deeper into the holy light. It was, after all, an Avatar of Greed, not an Avatar of Caution or Reasonableness. Soon it was nothing but ashes. Kickstart the Acolyte has been eliminated! Welcome to Day 2!
