Snickers do something useful
|
To all, but specifically Superbia and rsoultin (since they asked), my reads are out of date, since I haven't had a chance to really look at things after the flips. So I'm not really in a place to provide good reads or questions, sorry. I probably won't be able to catch up until tomorrow, though.
|
Does anyone else wonder if we're dealing with the exact same scum team?
|
Anyone want to lynch Superbia?
|
Darn it ritoky, you beat me to it.

Literally the dumbest shit ever. Be patient.

I've been done with this game the moment I looked at the next 2 pages after I spewed the sickest logic ever and realized essentially everyone was ignoring it and scumreading me for voting wrong. Superbia, there is one big hole in your logic. And that hole is you.
Alakaslam was scum, and he didn't do much about his own plight. We can primarily blame this on him being busy, and some people having a good read on him.
It is possible that both other mafia had little ability/will to make a counterwagon. Someone who was away until a half hour before end of day (aka you) would make sense for mafia coming so close to dying on Day 1, with the only counterwagon being led by flipped town. Therefore, if you are mafia, there is no reason to believe that the Alakaslam wagon was a bus, so that isn't a reason to townread you.
With the rest of your play in mind, I see you as reasonably likely to be scum. I will take a closer look at other filters, and I'm not saying that I want to lynch you 100%, but currently I find you to be the most suspicious, and worthy of a small case.

Superbia
- Superbia's actions at End of Day appear mafia-motivated
+ Show Spoiler +On March 04 2015 07:47 Superbia wrote: prp looks like an okay-ish lynch. Ritoky looks a little better imo. Asks regarding prp's meta early on, seemingly questioning his alignment, but completely falls off. Doesn't want to vote him over slam, even though his vote on slam has a very weak reason. Here, Superbia mentions that the prphlz lynch is okay. On March 04 2015 07:57 Superbia wrote: Voted for prp. I feel the townier people are on prp. 50% of people on slam are all decently scummy. Superbia votes for prphlz, with his main reason being that the prphlz wagon was full of town, while the Alakaslam votes were much more suspicious. It seems like Superbia is trying to distance himself from the lynch. However, at End of Day Superbia is very forceful about lynching prphlz instead of Alakaslam: On March 04 2015 07:58 Superbia wrote: Vote for prp or claim scum. Pick one. Basically, Superbia came into the thread, tried to get a vote switch to (in my opinion at the time, probably town) ritoky. And this vote switch was pretty hopeless with less than fifteen minutes to End of Day and ritoky only had one vote. So, Superbia still hasn't voted. He sees Palmar hard pushing prphlz, and sees rsoultin wavering. Superbia votes for prphlz, while distancing himself from this vote, and then hard pushes the prphlz lynch. Very mafia-motivated play.
- Superbia's reads are full of contradictions and inconsistencies
+ Show Spoiler +Superbia's play relied on sheeping Palmar. He did so with the push on prphlz, with Palmar's scum list after the flip, and in this post, where he tells town to sheep Palmar: On March 04 2015 08:10 Superbia wrote: Just sheep Palmar for the rest of the game if I die. Ride or die ssons. However, Superbia never directly provided a read on Palmar. In addition, he says that all of his reads are rather weak: On March 04 2015 07:51 Superbia wrote: Meh. I guess. I don't really have a solid read on anyone but Snickers. Snickers is town.
Also RSO probably mafia for OGI reasons. So his sheeping of Palmar and telling everyone else to do so makes no sense. Palmar's play was not very impressive in this game, and it wasn't terribly alignment indicative, either. Superbia is also extremely confident that Alakaslam is town. On March 04 2015 08:08 Superbia wrote:Show nested quote +On March 04 2015 07:59 Palmar wrote: When prplhz flips town (this is a crapshoot lynch) rsoultin, robik ritoky are mafia. I used the alphabet to determine this. Pretty much. I honestly think this game is pretty near solved, tbh. I don't think slam is ever mafia here. I think RSO is probably mafia from that vote. I think there's 2/3 in that list, probably 1 in MM/Onegu/Lurker or some shit. But Superbia never provided a read on Alakaslam before this. If he is confident in Alakaslam being town, wouldn't that have helped him decide his vote sooner than four minutes before End of Day? And wouldn't that have been mentioned in his post where he explained his vote? The only town explanation for this is that Superbia figured out Alakaslam's alignment using something that happened between his vote and the time of this post, right after the flip. Prphlz flipping town makes Alakaslam look worse, if anything, so that leaves rsoultin's vote switch. The argument that Superbia is using is that rsoultin's vote switch from Alakaslam to prphlz shows that both of them are scum. I will discuss this argument next, but other than this argument, Superbia's sudden town read on Alakaslam is absolutely senseless. Superbia's reasoning for rsoultin being scum is as follows. Mafia!rsoultin led a lynch on town!Alakaslam and then switched to town!prphlz at the last second. The reason for this switch would be to avoid the blame for the mislynch, having pushed the other wagon, and then push the original wagon for a mislynch the next day. The first part of this reason is nonsense, as switching votes to hammer a town player always leaves you to blame for the mislynch, even if you were supporting the other wagon all the time. The second part of this reason is also nonsense, as scum could simply push the unlynched wagon for a mislynch the next day as well. Note that Superbia was very supportive of the vote switch that rsoultin did ("Vote for prphlz or claim scum"), but immediately scumread her for doing so. On March 04 2015 13:02 Superbia wrote: Like here's what you're believing:
- Mafia slam did not vote to save himself. EITHER: - Mafia was willing to bus slam d1. - OR mafia switched to prp wagon to save slam.
The first makes zero sense because the scumreads on Slam were weak as fuck. Like Ritoky had essentially 0 reads. His reason for voting slam was "because he looked as his filter and was like 'is this all?'". REALLY?? The second doesn't line up with a mafia agenda because why the fuck would slam leave it to his mafia partners to save him when he could've done that himself by voting on prp. Literally the dumbest thing ever which reveals intermafia connections. NOT ONLY THAT. Most of the votes on slam were incredibly town. You were asked to point out two of the mafia on prp. You pointed out me and MM. You completely neglected Snickers for no good reason. Just checked your filter. You were very iffy on snickers earlier during the day. That completely evaporated after trfl tried to push on him for absolutely. Moreover, the fact that there was no doubt from you on robik or snickers, people voting on prp and off slam (mafia in your world) is ridiculous.
Vigi, I've done your work. Easy hit. This is a very interesting post. Superbia says that the reasoning for scumreading Alakaslam was weak. He didn't say this earlier, before the lynch. Then, he says that most of the votes on Alakaslam were incredibly town. Remember earlier when he referenced questionable votes on the Alakaslam wagon as a reason for voting for prphlz? Superbia is saying that the Alakaslam wagon was based on horrible reasons, and pushed by a mafia player, while having half of the people on it being decently scummy (and overall scummier than the prphlz wagon), but still with most of the people on the wagon being incredibly town.
- Superbia's play since End of Day was extremely defensive (while avoiding mentioning himself)
+ Show Spoiler +If Superbia is mafia, he knew that Alakaslam getting hit by a vigilante would be extremely bad for him. Remember that he told the vigilante to shoot rsoultin. Then a few posts later, he added that the cop should be on ritoky. This almost feels like he was trying to throw off the vigilante, and then added the cop comment as a tag-along to avoid it looking suspicious. Superbia has stated very clearly that he thinks that Alakaslam was bussed. I don't need to provide quotes of this. But he is basically defending his own vote without saying that he is defending himself. On March 05 2015 12:20 Superbia wrote: It's fine trfl, you're town. You should direct and shit if you want to. Let the questionable people talk more, however. This sentence seems fine at first, but then I remembered that I said this: On March 05 2015 08:00 Trfel wrote: By the way, I'm the vigilante.
Thanks to rsoultin and ritoky for the read.
Superbia, screw you. Maybe there is a reason that Superbia wants to keep me from sharing reads a lot? And maybe it's because was suspicious of him? In addition, Superbia frequently apologizes for his play. I don't think I need to provide quotes of this either, but it feels more suspicious to me. In conclusion, I'm not certain of Superbia's being scum, but I do feel that it is fairly likely. It would be much appreciated if someone (particularly Superbia) would show me where I am wrong in this assessment.

I'd really like thoughts on this. While I do find it fairly likely that Superbia is scum, I really could see him being town here. And a Superbia mislynch would leave us in a fair amount of trouble.
I'll try to take a look at some other people later tonight, and I would encourage others to do the same.

Hm.... Robik or Superbia.....
Decisions, decisions........
I need to leave about an hour before End of Day. I'll be here on and off until then. Sorry for the inconvenience.
|
Robik, you were town in VII Titanic, right? Is that a fair game for me to read your filter for meta comparison?
|
I prefer lynching Superbia to Robik.
Reasons for this is that we have cases on Superbia, and I don't see that much to scumread Robik for. Some of the reasons, he's already answered, and his answers seem acceptable.
Granted, I don't have good tone reads at all, and I don't have any real meta on Robik to be able to tell if his caps lock spree was genuine or not.
My vote stays on Superbia for now, I'll check back in maybe a half hour to see if anything has changed.

On March 07 2015 07:01 ritoky wrote: truffle, I am not as convinced on superbia as I was before...and I am really not a fan of a robik lynch right now...
I really want to shennanie onto mm1 or onegu, but I don't want robik to get lynched as a consequence. I can see Superbia's play coming from town, but I don't want to lynch Robik.
I could see a MysteryMeat1 or Onegu lynch, but they're just lurkers. Same with Oatsmaster.
I think I'd rather just lynch Superbia.
|
I need to leave in like a minute, if you want me to change my vote tell me ASAP.
|
Sorry, gotta run.
Superbia, if you are town, my apologies.
|
So one more lynch before LYLO....
|
Snickers, there was a significant difference in your play between Day 1 and Day 2. Why is this?
|
Day 1 your play seemed entirely trolling. Now, you seem to be actively scumhunting and attempting to solve the game. At least, that's how I read it.
|
What did you learn from Robik saying that you were a power role?
|
If you don't have much meta on Robik, why were you wondering specifically if Robik would think you were a power role?
Last question, sorry.
