The fact that Yamato hasn't updated the op for replacements or important posts is annoying as shit. The voting thread is hard to read because there's no clear dilineators as to when days or groups start or end, and yamato seems to not really care that we understand what's going on. Which is fine. But yeah was eating dinner for the past 12 hours basically. I've got a couple more hours of dinner then I'll do some analysis. Off hand my initial thoughts include "marv is probably scum due to his voting D3" and "slam is probably town given how much he's caring and how he seems visibly bothered by the low activity". Need to do a more in-depth read to formulate a team though

so here's my basic thoughts

I'm including myself. Despite what people think of me, I'm town. I've done the right thing and people don't like my style or my attitude or whatever but honestly you guys are just afraid of the truth. I'll probably get nayvoted and this will go to Palmar, which isn't the worst thing, but at the same time I feel a need to defend myself here. Look, guys. I changed my mind a couple times on bats. I don't like Marv. I don't think Oats is autoscum for being the person added for Mission 2. All of these opinions make people think I'm scummy, but people seem to think that disagreeing with me is cause enough to call me scum. It's not, and you should all feel bad for doing this. Those of you like Oats who criticize me for copy and pasting my mission counter and adding new information to it can shove it; the fact of the matter is, that mission counter is useful for me and if you don't like it, you can ignore it.

In terms of who I am including. I'm including Slam and Palm. Both of them have voted in ways that have helped town. They passed marv's team, and like me, they opposed the oats/lian team when it counted. It's still possible they're scum since marv was on the D1 team and he was scum, but scum would have no reason to oppose the Oats/Lian/Marv/Bats D2 team, so I have a strong townread. I also particularly find Slam townie. He... he got motivated. He tried to push people. He showed a sense of renewed vigour and need to inject energy into a flagging town that is consistent with town motivations. Slam is normally illegible, but by golly, this game he's trying, and I'm down for that. Palmar gets credit for the nayvote, and i'm honestly less strong on that read. I haven't sensed the usual vibes from Palmar, but Resistance is a different game.

For my fourth and final member, I'm going with bats. And yes, I'm aware this is a third flip-flop on the Bats issue. I think his response to my post here: (link) is telling. I can't imagine scum would come out and be like "Your voting history is good... I don't actually know why I'm scum reading you". That's such a shit-eating answer, but it reflects where I think the town is this game. Scumreading people and not knowing why, then reflecting on it and being like "oh damn, I don't really know what I'm doing" because this game has no flips and limited info. That thought process is town.

So, with that in mind:

so some context since apparently I'm not clear. Palm points out that this team mathematically has one scum on it, which is of course an inane observation, since the team will need 2 scum to fail. My response is:
