Just a game of Resistance.
Co-hosted by MM1!
The Setup:
- Four Loyalists + One Merlin vs. Three Spies
- First Mission Leader is RNG, then follows a list generated through RNG
- Majority voting on team proposals
Voting:
- All voting is done in the voting thread. Standard formatting (##Vote: Yay/Nay)
- After the deadline, no posting is allowed until the next modpost.
- 24-hour team selection deadline, 48-hour voting deadline. Nightless.
House Rules:
- I am relatively strict about in-thread behavior. You will be warned if you cross the line. You will be modkilled + replaced if you cross it again. If you have a problem with another player, let me know. The point of the game is enjoyment, and if someone is ruining the game, they will be removed.
- Don't cheat. See the TL Mafia Model OP (click!) for details. If you have any questions about what this means, PM me.
- Don't ask questions in the thread. PM me with any inquiries.
- Play to win. If you do anything to intentionally sabotage yours, or your faction's chances of winning, you will be banned postgame.
- No smurfs/hydras/coaching/shadows

Sample Role PM's Loyalist + Show Spoiler +You're a Loyalist! You win by successfully completing 3 missions without failure. Merlin + Show Spoiler +You're THE Merlin!
You know the identity of all of the spies, but you must not let them know lest they kill you and take control of King Arthur's Court!
The spies are 1 2 3 Spy + Show Spoiler +You're a Spy!
The other spies are is <x> and <x>!
You win by sabotaging 3 missions OR by one of you (decided by RNG) correctly guessing the identity of Merlin upon the pass of 3 missions.

"If the evil players lose the game, however, they have one last chance of redeeming themselves by correctly guessing Merlin's identity. If they can do this, the evil players win."
Are you doing this without the role (whose name i forgot) who is allowed to guess the Merlin in case scum lose? I mean are you giving the whole scumteam a chance to guess who Merlin is instead of just one player? I am just thinking because that's not how it is in the board game Resistance.
EDIT: Also spies are not normally allowed to communicate with each other during the game in resistance.

Do spies not communicate in traditional resistance games?

mm, making it a one-player thing makes sense to me intuitively

So I'll just PM one of the three at random and it's his job to figure it out.

as an aside, if the person making the team is a spy and he puts 2 spies names into the team then it's the generally accepted play that the first name on the list he made plays the fail, i.e:
Holyflare X Y
If holyflare and X are on the team only I would play the fail. If I say:
X Holyflare Y
Only X would play the fail etc etc
