I think there's a good chance you're right on gumshoe as my vote indicates. I had some doubts because I didn't see certain scumtells I had for him myself but there were other reasons I voted him which are reduced in effectiveness if I am open about them. Gumshoe doesn't die This is the worst case scenario because it _could_ be possible that Gumshoe is a scumvet with a lot of lives and some other funky actions, but I think we still lynch LSB. If we lynch gumshoe We either win, or we tell LSB to shoot prplhz. Prplhz dies We lynch LSB. prplhz doesn't die We still lynch LSB because the chance of a mafia dayvig having multiple lives is ridiculous. Conclusion Regardless of whoever we think is more likely, if these three are our only suspects then the optimal play barring even more strange shit is to lynch Gumshoe, then have LSB shoot prplhz. | ||

LSB's confidence could also come from the DT ability turning into a framing ability for scum and being able to frame himself to look as town so he'd be confirmed town. And he could be allowed to use two abilities. Would be a pretty OP role then but those kinda roles are all we're potentially left with anyway, and JOAT makes the most sense for it. | ||

He seemed pretty trusting of Xatalos too so that seems unlikely. Oats didn't have a role. It seems reasonable to presume scum would also only be able to choose a role if there was one left. Hopeless was acting upon his orders Austin flipped red so there was no reason to suspect LSB Prplhz didn't have a night action and Palmar already shot scum Leaves Gumshoe. He was already getting shot so it seems very possible Marv would rb him. If Gumshoe was indeed the PGO vet, why wouldn't Hopeless die then though? And why didn't Gumshoe die of two shots? | ||

Just one assumption. You have to look at the flavour of the role too. A detective isn't suddenly going to get KP when they're scum. Survivability abilities for a veteran role make sense. A busdrive ability for an assassin makes no sense. You have to look at abilities within their role type. No way is a dayvig or an assassin going to have a busdrive ability. A veteran scum getting two extra abilities is more reasonable to me than the alternative. And if we look at the actual play, Gumshoe is the only player in the game that has no reason to be town. | ||
