I was actually asked to take that replacement slot before CR was and I chose not to---for good reason imo. The way my schedule was there was no way I would have been able to catch up, and while I would have been doing a favour to the hosts, it would have made the game shitty for the people in it, as well as for me. You can see this is exactly what happened to CR. In my opinion the slot should have been modkilled at that point. A shitty option but it would have prevented some of these issues.

Good game guys. I hope you all had fun. It was a blast hosting this game for you guys.

The fact you were town only makes what you said way worse because there is no justification for you personally attacking someone like that. That's not mafia that's enlarging your dick. This was Koshi's post. We told him why he was modkilled.

they were probably trying to help the scumteam but let's be honest, I was a VT that was prob going to be mislynched so it actually helped town. Maybe you should use protection.

I had fun, with the challenges at least!

But there was some good stuff, especially CR's poem.

Asking questions every few hours is inherently unfair to people considering not everyone can be around all of the time; I imagine that's probably why you dumped the idea. I ran into something similar when coming up with my setup.

Problem is that's still inherently unfair because there are some people who WILL be able to be around at all times and so that may give that specific team an unfair advantage. Alternative deadlines in the middle of cycles just strike me as a big no-no, not even considering the amount of work required to be present for multiple deadlines like you said.
So Cora dare I ask, why were you hiding? I knew you had put this game up before you decided to leave TL mafia so I was surprised to see in still going on; now I understand why it continued. Are you going to be returning/hosting more games?

I have played in 11 TL mafia games now includeing ##, I have rolled scum in 6 of them.

Anyone know the song I quoted in scum qt?

Yo! Koshi just sent me an apology. Wasn't necessary since I thought his comment was completely justified and I wasn't at all offended by it. But I think Koshi is a fine gentleman now ^^.
So anyways, sorry I wasn't able to be very active this game. I told the hosts that I was only able to play an hour a day, and I guess we thought it was better than nothing. I was going to spend that hour a day catching up on the thread, but the day I replaced in, I was somehow already getting lynched. Even though I was leading in votes, the secret vote saved me last second. Afterwards people were calling for a vig on me. I was under the impression that I was either going to die during the night or get lynched the day after, so if I only have an hour a day, I'm not gonna be able to read the entire thread before I die, so I would rather just use that hour to find some way to save myself. My plan was basically to play really shitty town. Do things like not interact with people and martyr over and over again. Since there were only strong players left and being mafia meant that I would have two mafia teammates, there were no two people here that would let me play like this. After being a bit useless, or martyring once, the two other mafia would give me a verbal spanking and get me to play better. Nobody would allow me to martyr again and again. I was hoping this would be picked up and people would let me slip by as shitty town rather than scum. I guess I didn't play it very well and it didn't work out. Oh well. Fun game overall though, and I loved the challenges.
I'll definitely be back after a couple months when my schedule clears up a bit since mafia is quite fun. GG!

Hey CR did you come up with the poem on your own? That was awesome! Also someone beat BH in poem competition, yay!
And it's never a good idea to play purposely like shit. :/ You could have said, "guys, i am not able to catch up in any way, can you give me a recap of what's happened and what's important atm so i can focus on right things?" and be just fine.

Do you truly believe that?

Syllogism is right in everything he talked about postgame.
Game was superfun but hosts were really inconsistent with modkills as mentioned.

I have been trying to work out how to ask a question, and there were various posts in the post game it could have been a reply to, but each time I wrote it out and read it back it looked like aback handed criticism. Its not. Its a question. So I ask it here instead.
Marv. You have a thing called dick move analysis. I may have it wrong (don't care if I do)
Assertion: There are behaviors that would be being a dick if you did (faked) them as Scum, but town sometimes does.
Axles Corollary: If there is any behavior that if you fake it as scum would be being a dick. (get emotional and shouting at people for 1 making bad posts in this game, (man,.... your posts this game are shit) 2 making bad posts in general (man,.... you play shit) 3 being a bad person (man,.... you are shit) (in escalating order of emotiveness and mod kill ability (also brevity) ) 0 making objectively scummy posts. (man your posts show no intent/inquisitveness/desire to hunt scum. Play or get lynched.)
< 0 (boring dry towny) .... 3 (some dickiness) >
Then (as I am an adult) lacking the self restraint to not do that as town is being a dick by proxy. It is being a dick by proxy as when I play scum I am going to have to try and fake that behavior.
Basically if as town (when you call me scum) I tell you, you are a worthless human being... (and get away with it) then as scum I am going to have to say that (because your reads are valid) and I need to behave like I would do as town.

The only way for me to win was to shoot you, I couldnt let you keep the wand, I knew you had it from BH. You knew scum knew you had the wand you should have told town you had it and what it did during resolution, in case you were wrong about me.
