I don't think anyone besides batsnacks would feel all that bad if the guy got a 3 game. What he did was clearly unacceptable and apparently he doesn't agree, so...
Lol I was just bored and playing devil's advocate. Witch mafia hasn't started yet.

if we could send pms in-game to other players in-game (*cough* i know i've sent one after i was dead, bad me) i'd totally use that to "confirm" myself town as scum lol ><
why not? I recognize that makes little sense. My point was a pm is really no different from a forum post, except it's private. Like sl broke the rules. Done. But is the rule itself really valid? If you're scum and not aware of what you're saying you're just bad lol and if you're not...how do people tell the difference? I dunnae maybe i'm missing something key here. Yeah you are missing something here. Yes, the difference between a PM and a forum post is that it's private, but that's a HUGE DIFFERENCE. Also, not sure if you read the game, but sicklucker was town that game and was PMing people (including a coach, who was a town coach) in a way that completely fucked up the game. The scum player conceded in part because he wanted the PM harassment to end. There are PM games and there are non-PM games, and if you don't see why PMing in a non-PM game is a big deal, play in a PM game and see how it's different. Like, legit so much changes when people are allowed to PM. Even regarldess of that, PMing was obviously not allowed by the rules, the dude was warned, and has generally acted like a total dick to newbies. Even if SL gets no ban for this, I will be very, very hesitant to let him /in for any newbie game I host.
lol xP
no contest on the "should you pm in a no-pm game" thing xP i get that fine
i would argue however that there's no such thing as pming someone something that "confirms" you as town...maybe as scum lol >< so in the sense that pms break the game...i highly doubt it

Are we supposed to sheep? 100 % sheepworthy, cakepie top town. I am surprised you don't see it - probably means you are mafia.

If the guy fake claimed as town and sl started pming him that in a no pm game then it's evident sl is town. Even if he's mafia it's also game breaking since it's info only that guy has and it would clearly influence his decisions. Not to mention he was pming a coach of another player.

It seems like the only people who think what SL did is acceptable are SL and people who are trolling, playing devil's advocate, and arguing to argue. I declare this discussion complete with an outcome of "total victory" for cakepie.

thats not fucking true lol. He used it as an excuse. If you get offended by a 1 line post why do you even log onto the internet. He should have conceded. If he didnt know that or whatever thats fine. His coach should have told him to concede. Rules are rules but players make the rules and spite lynching people should be a against the rules as well
