Thanks for hosting. I definitely want to play in the next one if there's one. Agreed. Host a new one soon <3 Catastrophe Mafia is coming *sometime* in the next month. Me, GMarshal, and iGrok are hosting it. What is this? Is going to be as fun (or terrible lol) as the name implies?
Having spoken to Grey a lot during this game, and a decent time before, I can safely say....I'm scared

That way if scum get a medic kill they are rewarded with a RBer, and if town get a RB kill they are rewarded with a medic.
what do you guys think? So, I kinda want themed games where you can't tell someone's alignment by their name because everyone has a recognizable character and scum has recognizable characters to claim, or you just screw with everyone and make alignment not realistic to the universe. Glados = town, chell = scum. Basically, even though I loved your fake claims that you wrote, they just didn't have some of the name recognizability as the bigger names. Idk, maybe that's just because I knew jingle and ghost fake claimed. Whatever, I'm just rambling now.
Dota PYP, coming 2013
While we're here....hey, Red Scum team, why did you shoot Crossfire N2?

3v3v8.5 One thing to think about is 2 more people is 2 more roles that do things to the night actions
yes but every scum gets actions too. so its basically a normal game in terms of balance

But it is very variable. Like a lot depends on the interaction of night actions. no, this game had almost 0 chance of town winning. we only mislynched twice and lost the night of a scum lynch
also both of you need to remember we lynched probably the most powerful scum in the game day 1 before he could even use night actions. i shudder to think what would have happened had we only lynched black scum and i died, therefore town loses 4 to 3 after night 3
this game was super fun and the roles and gameplay were extremely interesting and the hosting was flawless and I am happy I joined btw (don't wanna complain too much)

I would agree it was really fun but slightly unbalanced as town considering a scum lynch day 1. Also that black mesa didn't use their roles optimally, as you intended woulda made them a lot more powerful. Hard to perfectly balance a game that has all roles though haha.

But the point is you have to push your point across. There's no use being right if you're not pushing WHY you're right and explaining it and persuading people. Being right is only half the battle.
I mean, you caught iamp, so fair dinkum on that one. But you could've done more.

Welcome to Aperture Mafia 2: Portal Edition! You are P-Body, the Roleblocker Roleblocker. You and your buddy A.T.L.A.S. (who is also in the game) are great test takers! You are much more cunning than your partner, and can help others solve tests. Each night you may target a player, and remove all roleblock effects on them for that night. Because you and A.T.L.A.S. are so in sync, whoever he targets with his ability you will also affect as well. you win with the town
If it said that, and a "Test Giver" flipped, and you were somehow scum, I would have been pretty pissed. Why would scum P-Body and town ATLAS (or vice-versa) be buddies at all? Much less specifically say we are both test takers. Really want the flavor I would use? Hello, Cave Johnson here! Welcome to cooperative antagonist robotic testing! Today is a great leap forward in science, so you should be proud! Or rather your computer brains should be simulating proudness. Anyway after watching robots try to work together but then get each other killed, we decided to see how well robots trying to kill each other work together. Makes sense right? RIGHT?!?! Anyway, get out there and try to work towards your common goal of beating the other. You'll do fine. We're done here.
Funny, that reminds me of a Portal 2 Coop map I made for the pure function of blowing up your fellow robot.

While he wasn't active and figuring things out, he was someone we didn't want around as the game went longer because he wouldn't ever be a mislynch option. Plus, although he seemed to be clearly town, it still felt unlikely there'd be protection on him because of his activity level, so it was more likely we could actually kill him than someone highly visible.
Just so happened that "incredibly townie" actually meant "incredibly not-us"

Pretty much the reasons I had figured in the BS QT that he'd be a great target.
By the way, is anyone else almost wishing we'd gotten to find out how me vs Gonzaw in the least rational Mafia all-in ever would have ended?

Oh come on, it was a brilliant strategy. Thank you for not being in this one, by the way, I really doubt I could have gotten away with referencing bad play in PTP3 safely. You would have gotten me lynched because you know my ego.

I love your ego, babe <3
edit: and yea, you know I found that PTP3 thing pretty weird.

<3 But yeah, I literally was thinking about that when I posted that. "It's a really good thing Marv isn't in this game, he'd know better."

Meh, I'll just find a different excuse next time. Having to do that was Keirathi's fault anyways. "aggressive and leadery". Then later he suddenly remembers I'm willing to play that was as scum, too. Bastard.

Grey explaining to me how my/our roles work makes me feel really dumb T_T
Also, BS basically lost N2 with the loss of our KP. JH and I had no way to win past that point.
And I should have been lynched D4 when I claimed a green check on JH while pushing him as BS on D3. I was sure that was going to be the end of me, but it looks like everyone lynched me because I wasn't around. Sorry I didn't have more time to put into this game, guys.
Huge thanks to Grey and Hassy for hosting! Had a blast.

Don't feel so bad. I think we were trying to do stuff like that, but due to various reasons, it didn't work out. I mean you were going to check Keirathi night 1, by switching with gonzaw, but Matt bussed gonzaw and drazerk, so you didn't move and were forced to check Jingle. Then night 2, I was debating about pushing you to switch matt and jingle, so jingle could control strong to protect me because I believed his claim, but it wouldn't have mattered because the rat den was there and jingle would have been roleblocked.
Also, I'm not mad at you because I know you were really busy, but I found your whole sequence of claim posts to be simultaneous hilarious and face palmworthy. lol
