As long as you specify in the Role PM that they could be (or ARE) different alignments. I spent the entire game 99.999% trusting that S&B was town because your Role PM didn't really leave room for ambiguity, while the House Chezinu PM's in Aperture 1 specifically did allow of different factions :D

Unless it says "He is confirmed to be town". He is not. I included the chezinu thing because as a mason group you have to always specify they are different alignments. I put anti-break mechanics in all my games. Not sure if you guys noticed but 50% of your town PMs were in blue and 50% were in green.

So, I kinda want themed games where you can't tell someone's alignment by their name because everyone has a recognizable character and scum has recognizable characters to claim, or you just screw with everyone and make alignment not realistic to the universe. Glados = town, chell = scum. Basically, even though I loved your fake claims that you wrote, they just didn't have some of the name recognizability as the bigger names. Idk, maybe that's just because I knew jingle and ghost fake claimed. Whatever, I'm just rambling now.

You can ask people. this game was anti meta for me because I made most characters their actual alignment. In Aperture 1 Chell was a vanilla town and got lynched for claiming as such.

And having kanti be town when he was mentioned as a "being of great power" in balrog's PM was pretty funny too.

You are P-Body, the Roleblocker Roleblocker. You and your buddy A.T.L.A.S. (who is also in the game) are great test takers! You are much more cunning than your partner, and can help others solve tests. Each night you may target a player, and remove all roleblock effects on them for that night. Because you and A.T.L.A.S. are so in sync, whoever he targets with his ability you will also affect as well. you win with the town If it said that, and a "Test Giver" flipped, and you were somehow scum, I would have been pretty pissed. Why would scum P-Body and town ATLAS (or vice-versa) be buddies at all? Much less specifically say we are both test takers.

He hammered a scum from the (at that point assumed) only scum faction in the game on D1. If he was town, scum would have it almost impossible to get him lynched and he would be considered pretty much confirmed town (like many did) because of that fact, whether he's useless or not. That's enough for scum to shoot him (if he were town), which is enough to get him protection (to avoid a scum shot), at least from 1 of the 4 medics. I'm glad they didn't though of course On October 12 2012 14:16 GreYMisT wrote: Gonzaw you became invincible becasue Matt bussed you and Keirathi, and Drazerk stole Matts ability and Bussed you and S&B. This means any ability directed at you would be done to both S&B and Keirathi, and anything done to Keirathi would skip you and go to S&B. and vice versa Did S&B/Kei target me or one of them that night? I don't really get how that's being invincible. If let's say S&B was shot that night...I'd get shot instead and die, right?

But since you were also bussed with me, it would have been bussed to me instead. So basically, with the double bus on you, S&B and I were bussed with each other.

Unfortunatly as I said my notes are at college which i'm not going to until this sunday. Im going to upload them to the thread so you can see how I figure things out.

And it's always better to protect the people who are actually scumhunting well (which on d1 was matt/mementoss).

lol that's funny. Hey, maybe that's a funny mechanic for a multi-bussers game or something like that.

Welcome to cooperative antagonist robotic testing! Today is a great leap forward in science, so you should be proud! Or rather your computer brains should be simulating proudness. Anyway after watching robots try to work together but then get each other killed, we decided to see how well robots trying to kill each other work together. Makes sense right? RIGHT?!?! Anyway, get out there and try to work towards your common goal of beating the other. You'll do fine. We're done here.

That would be much, much more ambiguous and would have left room for one or the other to be scum. I totally don't think the PMs in this game left wiggle room for the other one of us to be scum, so if they were opposite alignments it would have been bastard modding ![]() I do like that role concept for the next one though <3
