A pressure, like a brewing storm, despite the clear skies. Something was coming, GMarshal could smell it in the wind. GMarshal continued pacing, pistol clutched in his hand between the folds of his cloak, a grim visage of bitter determination. Today was the day when everything would begin, one way or another. On the cobbles the sound of a horsedrawn carriage could be heard, the grinding of the wheels along with the faint "clip, clop" of the horses. GMarshal smiled bitterly as he stepped into the shadows. He knew exactly what would happen in the next few minutes, and that filled his heart with a certain sense of... calm The carriage slowly sauntered down the street, before coming to a slow halt, and from the carriage emerged two men, despite the dimness of the oil lamps, it was easy to make out Lord s0Lstice's distinctive features, and arrogant gait. From GMarshal's hiding place is was impossible to see what the two men were whispering about, and to GMarshal it was irrelevant. Taking a deep breath, GMarshal took a step forward and put his hand on s0Lstice's shoulder. "Hello, old friend" GMarshal whispered, pressing his pistol into s0Lstice's back. "I'm here to destroy you and everything you stand for. It is the beginning of a new dawn." With that he fired, and s0Lstice's chest exploded in a spray of blood covering his traveling companion in gore. GMarshal was apprehended later that night, and was executed with the first rays of sunlight for the murder of the high chancellor. His death would mark the beginning of what was commonly known as "the glorious revolution". GMarshal the Instigator has been executed s0Lstice the High Chancellor has been murdered in cold blood The Nobility has fled or gone into hiding!
