Since your're so bored, I'll share a random thought I had about why scum might have wanted to RB milton:
D1: milton accuses talis hard
D2: good cases are made against talis but milton suddenly finds talis not scummy
when you keep in mind that talis flipped GF, maybe scum thought milton was cop who sensibly checked talis (one of his top targets) but got an 'inno'.
Overall, I don't actually think this is too likely since random far-fetched theories like this are hardly ever right, but it's food for thought.

I agree with scib. We've got an hour before the day post to discuss things. This is a huge benefit to the town and we should use it accordingly.

I've pestered Mattchew a few times for a read on Risen...which was lucky because I've been keenly aware of the weird answers he gave.

This should really be all you need. Read Risen's filter up to that time-stamp and see if YOU see any inconsistencies or logic holes.

Not exactly, because of his gonzaw play which I don't fully understand, but I don't think that changes my read on him in anyway
He still clings to that town read, despite the reasons for making that read originally being no longer valid.

This is like the worst reason ever to clear a cop claim. The absolute first thing you must do is check the person's filter to see if the cop claim matches their play. Set-up speculation must come after. You had better believe that a scum Mattchew would have been ALL OVER this claim if Risen is actually town. This would have been such an easy mis-lynch for scum to direct, for a number of reasons.
But Mattchew stubbornly sticks to that town read, for pretty much no good reason. Doesn't vet the cop claim, also for no good reason.
I think this is a pretty strong connection, and makes a lot of sense with Risen as scum.

Why would scum Risen "confirm" 2 players as town (S&B and you) last day if he was buddies with Mattchew?
Granted it would reduce the pool of suspects and increase the chances him or Mattchew are lynched, right? (which effectively happened, and hell even people like Keirathi or Dropbear and other guys later wanted Risen lynched as well).
I know scum Risen can do crazy stuff...but that crazy stuff is generally used to confuse town even more, not to help town.

I think town was pretty damn confused yesterday, and like I said, we lynched Mattchew despite Risen claiming cop, not because of it.

Well, I wasn't, it "confirmed" solstice and S&B to me.
Whether it made me "unsure" about Risen's claim or not...it confirmed 2 guys as town, you can't deny that (it actually confirmed them as town if you think Risen is scum).
I was actually suspicious of solstice and planning to read his filter and maybe going after him.....Risen basically allowed me to focus on Mattchew and not care about solstice.
Meh, hopefully scum don't have a RBer and kill him tonight or something.
Even then Risen has to survive 3 night kills and 3 lynches to win as scum, I doubt he could do that.
Also he may be faking his "I fake-claimed cop last day" to avoid getting shot/RBed by scum, so tomorrow we'll know if his claim is legit or not.

Mattchew assumed that he was in a pretty good spot following his bus. Risen however was not, so they had to address that. The fake cop claim, if everyone buys it, sets them up pretty good.
s&b was reading pretty strongly town anyway, so really he only 'confirmed' me.
It's a worthwhile price to pay to give them:
Mattchew: heavily pushed the lynch of confirmed scum on day 2
Risen: claimed cop with two green checks
This gives them a lot of options going forward. If people buy the claim, they have 'cop' and a proven 'scum-hunter.' If they had managed to get your lynch to go though gonzaw, they wouldn't have been that far from lylo.

And honestly, the number of lies Risen has told this game should make you want to lynch him anyway. There's a reason Lynch-all-Liars exists...it's because scum have far, far greater motivation to lie than townies do. When you are lynching a proven liar, you are probably also lynching scum.

Since it is deadline, my antagonizing him all night was in the hope that he was actually cop and trying to get out of being NK'd by saying he was VT.
I figured if I antagonized him enough, mafia would have less reason to kill him. But if they have a RB'er, then they had no reason to kill him anyways.

of those two options, i'd say VT. I find it really hard to believe that he would out himself as an actual cop with 2 green checks to show for it.
If he is town, he wouldn't be at huge risk of scum killing him because there were plenty of people suspicious of him. He's smart enough to know this. Also, if he was actually a cop, I believe he would have saved that claim for when he was legitimately in danger of being lynched, not right after the day post.
