gg scumteam.

Scum usually has very little reason to be inactive, at least my scum play that is. Inactivity does not equal alignment, however malicious inactivity does. You need to learn how to distinguish the two things.

My only regret is that we did not kill lyter like I originally planned to and thus would have caused WBG to lose.

Lol, I can see the pure evil flowing from your post

I would have maybe preferred a lynchable (but not killable) hidden third party with an objective to kill everyone else, cause the town to lose or something equally "dramatic"... Unlynchable just seems a bit too much IMO. It's a quite interesting idea, I have to admit, but being untouchable makes a role also less interesting.

And everyone knowing the role of said untouchable person makes it so easy to just totally ignore one of the players... Which makes the role less interesting to use too.

Also, I wanted to hatch an epic plan to tell scum team I was going to jail WBG, thus role blocking him and making him killable by way of double stack. Unfortunately the mods said that they would have to tell the scum team this wouldn't work if they asked. The only reason I claimed is because I was going to visit Mr. Zentor, and with the mod confusion I had seen beforehand, it wasn't completely out of the realm of possibility that they messed up and said I went to zentor.

that being said this game was really fun and a huge thank you to the mods for putting this together.

Looking back over the thread + Mafia thread, it was like a comedy of errors for town ahaha. Still, enjoyed the experience and will hopefully have a better idea next time

Except for the first day, I don't think we would've wanted to kill bugs anyway (and the first day, SLJ was a bigger target anyway). He was actually quite a help to us. I, at least, didn't believe he had any KP and thought he might've had DT powers, which I didn't much care about as he could never make a believable claim anyway after his decision to troll the crap out of Risen.

Yeah, Mattchew, your roleclaim blew my mind. I was fishing for a tracker to tell everybody I was blatantly lying (because I went to roleblock MrZentor on N2)... and for you to say I was lying because you were a vanilla townie. Instead you counterclaimed one of the most powerful town roles in a manner that left no doubt that the claim was real. Probably check with the mods first, next time Still, you can see in scumchat that you were a target for the nightkill even before you claimed. Your thread presence and suspicion of Xatalos was worth a kill alone. Your roleclaim was worth you getting doublestacked.

I think scum did a fine job this game.
if I had to describe his playstyle, it'd be a coked up rabbit with the attention of a goldfish injecting caffeine into himself directly through an IV drip. it's like a reel of random animated shorts where things just blow up randomly

Just saw town lost. Sigh. GG mafia team.
It is pretty difficult trying to sub not a game and try to catch up on so much filter and stuff where you can make an impact. After the Arco lynch, I was really hoping people would have read my case on Xatalos..I was fairly convinced of him being mafia when I posted that. I guess I cold have pushes it harder, but agai, trying to come in with thread presence halfway thru a game feels so weird.
If anyone has any criticism, have at it...I am all ears.

GG.

Don't be too harsh on yourself If I had to make a list of who I wanted to kill the most during this game, you would probably be ranked #2. SLJ seemed like the most dangerous player to me, because he suspected chaoser early on and was very confident he could find the remaining Mafia during day 2. At first I wanted to kill GreYMisT too, but he did nothing to clear himself of suspicions or to push a lynch, so we left him for town to kill. There's only so much you can do alone... Most of the town didn't feel very threatening at all. Only SLJ and you gave me the feeling "this player has to die by tomorrow". Although I guess you could have pushed for me harder or made another case to clear GreYMisT/risk.nuke or to lynch chaoser/Kohbee...

It's not being too hard on myself. Just my quick thoughts on being a sub into a game and asking for critique from the more experienced guys, like WBG AND VE. I do it nearly every endgame. Hhahah.

The layabout lynch was not hilarious.

Also Xaltos claimed scum in his first post and you all should have listened to me

Wasn't Petyr supposed to be a neutral party...?

Anyways, glad the game started I hope the first day lynch won't be just a random lynch, like it usually is in the SC2 Mafia mod. At least here we have more time to "read" players and everyone has to post!

Jitsu - you had the benefit of reading the whole game from an external perspective subbing in. Replacements get an unfair advantage because they're not being manipulated directly during the first parts of the game and they can see subtle manipulations more easily. Your reads were right on, but at that point the town was so dead and no one cared anymore. Your only hope was to grab someone when they were online and get them interested in your case, then get someone else, then someone else. Activity is the only thing that can combat inactivity, and barring that there wasn't much you could do.

Thanks VE <3

I guess for now I can take solace in the fact that my reads were good and move onto the next game.

I played the worst I possibly could have. I'll blame it on not being able to put a lot of time into it. Going to do a better job at selecting games that fit into a couple week time window that I have free.

My apologies to the town.

Zealos you blew your load early. If you could have waited one more day before using your power, you could have won it for town. Scum were still speculating the last blue could be a PGO at that point ^^

Oh, also, I saw someone recently (think it was Risk.Nuke) bring up my soft medic claim.

I was hoping to WIFOM the Mattchew hit. Arco did a good job of drawing out Mattchew as the jailer. I was only a VT. I felt that, at that time, Mattchew was doing a decent job contributing (better then in previous games then I recall) and felt that his power as a Jailer would be better then my power as a VT, obviously. I got my call out on Xatalos in time, so I didn't see a downside, as he was my strongest read.

I was hoping to force the Mafia's hand in trying to hit me, since they wouldn't be sure if I was healing Mattchew, thus wasting a shot, and killing me, again, wasting a shot. They didn't take the bait, however.

It got bad because everyone was posting little, leading into everyone posting less because it's harder to motivate yourself to play. It's not really any one persons fault but all of towns combined.

Blah, I just saw that the Mafia QT was pretty well convinced I was medic. I guess my plan wasn't THAT successful.
