I think we need to talk about the type of games people run.

Large games take a long time to fill, clog up the queue, result in mass modkills, and very few people actually like playing them.

Mafia should always cater to the players, not the host. For that purpose I think we should be running way less large 30+ player games and far more 10-20 player games.

I mean good news is that the Census should let us know what players are looking for-- if it turns out the majority if players are indeed looking for more 10-20 player games and fewer large 30+ player games (I know this is the case for myself), the Census should reflect it. :D

I agree. At least for me personally, I've really enjoyed the small games I've played in (Resistance, Student Mafia I) and felt somewhat overwhelmed by the large game experience (XLVII). That's not to say we shouldn't have large games at all-- I just feel like I enjoy these small ones more.

I think this has already been done. At least, I remember reading a game that was very similar. Like TL forum mafia or some shit. Banlings were blues and trolls were reds and stuff like that. It looked hilarious. We could have a sequel?

Also the small game business has been brought up multiple times. Just gotta wait for the verdict from Foolishness. As per Radfield's idea I'd actually love to have the minis outside the queue.

Editing threads/posts that havent been edited in three months is disallowed, because in the past people have gotten angry and destroyed huge contributions to tl out of bitterness or to spite someone. If you really need to edit it, you can contact a mod, and they can edit the post, making it editable again.

Also, as an aside, if no one is doing it, I can host a newbie game after my mini is over.
