Chalk talk. About the setup.
Features:
Massive Amounts of Blue Roles: Every single person had a blue role. And extremely curtail ones two. Doctors, vigis, practically everything conceivable that wasn’t lynched.
I was most proud of the Oracle idea
Comments on roles:
Neo- We kindof wanted a choice with this role, take the red pill / take the blue pill. However, we found that taking the red pill wasn’t that hard after all. The mafia just shrugged it off and decided to go after different targets
Lots and Lots of Doctors- There were 6 doctors, and lots of night action immune roles. We expected a lot of kills to be blocked. However, this didn’t happen
Lots of town KP- This makes it extremely dangerous for the mafia. In fact, the majority of the Mafia’s deaths came from town or third party KP. But the vigis never popped their shots interestingly enough
Extremely Strong mafia: The mafia this game had a bus. This means that they can kill virtually anyone 100%. In addition they could mess with the lynch extensively, roleblock
PM Network
This was the town circle. We gave the PM network a DT (insane), 2 Doctors, Pardoner, and 1 mafia. It would be an extremely powerful force if they claimed to each other. Although there would be a mafia, if they figured out who the mafia was, they could easily have won the game
Actually what we envisioned to happen would be that the DT would check someone, turn mafia. They would lynch the person. Then they would lynch the DT for being wrong. And then find themselves screwed =P
Murrayitis
This was a mafia mechanic. We overestimated how fast it would spread. We thought it would be an epic battle between the Plague doctors and the disease. But the problem was that there was not as much night actions as what we thought there were. Most of the night actions were doctors/mafia hits. Otherwise known as non-murraitis spreading actions
However, it played a huge role at the end. Mafia Baneling bomb!
Oracle!
What was suppose to happen was that NB would kill himself night 3, and the oracle would kill himself night 4. I wanted to give Korr this role, since it would be hilarious to see how she would act when she sees that she’s going to die
Sadly she didn’t play.
Oh well, it was one of the “See Oracle go full panic!” It’d be hilarious if we gave the oracle to a spammer like Coag. Pages full of “OMG I’M GOING TO DIE”
Traitor
The original idea for traitor was to make a mafia traitor. Yes, a double crosser aligned with himself. Two people were bulletproof, and hopefully they would live to the third day, where they would start working to get the mafia to win, and then to distrust each other.
Then Divinek gets lynched x.x
So Artanis has the 3rd party go kill important targets. We had to recruit Glasse for the role (He fit perfectly)
Balance
As we see, the mafia should have completely cleaned up. The town was easily influenced. (I blame this on inactive mafia spots filled with extremely experienced players).
However, what happened was that the town was able to hold on for a close game.
The mafia defiantly should be a bit more powerful. There were a lot of them, but I’m thinking effective roles. They defiantly had a lot of election changing powers, but it was public and they then didn’t use them as much.
Probably next game they’ll get cooler roles.

Haha I made so many slips and everything(such as reveal L's role when no one knew it, L EVEN BROUGHT THAT UP haha). I was just glad we had so many vet's on that team(ace...RoL...L etc.) Then they died and I was like "what the hell." Thank god L was there. how did u not die???? Like honestly HOW??

if anyone gets any kind of pressure under fire award this game DOCH wins hands down.

Man being mafia is so epic... if you make a screw up, for example, you just hold your breath and hope no one notices. And also just stuff you don't forsee can come in and ruin your plans.
I.e: RoL being afk meant Doctor. H wasn't roleblocked, when he should've been.

I figured i could be so fucking annoying they would lynch me over pandain just to get rid of all the nonsensical shit i was putting out there..
it would of been bad if they lynched pandain.. and i was already confirmed red so.. better me than him

Yea I felt bad for Dr.H. While he wasn't always on the right track the Town was so bad he never had a chance to cut through all the bullshit. By the time Infinitestory came around it was too late. I guess now Dr.H knows how it feels to appear so pro-town and have to deal with bad townies and Scum undermining you and how hard it is to find the difference.

I felt like this too... Except I am not pro-town by definition but was trying to be as pro town as I could. I felt it I dealt with afk townies instead of bad townie.
I took the short way out at the end when I make Glasse decide to side with town or side with mafia.

Alot of it was people arguing about the same thing for 50+ pages over and over and over again.
