Well, I was going to push for the town to get behind DrH on Day 2. Then my plan was to use my Vigi hit Day 2 to take Pandain out of the game. After that his cronies would have fallen.

That's true.

My mindset usually is to not trust anyone until they can somehow prove their alignment. Because of that I tend to play my role as best as I can, individually, and not to ask for help.

I still new at the game and trying to learn. I'll definitely keep that in mind.

You don't need to trust anyone to ask for doc protection in public. Make the point in 2-3 posts and immediately you've set off a mafia mindgame; Is he going to be protected? Should we risk a single hit? Why is he asking for prots?

Whether or not docs even bother helping you out is irrelevant because you've introduced doubt as to whether or not you can be hit.

hmm... Also true.

I usually view the players who ask for medic protection as being suspicious. However, if I can hint at a good reason and promise a significant return then I'd be more likely to convince other players of my good intentions.

What is actually funny about this is it all happened because I chose to role block nemesis. If I roleblocked Amber instead I wouldn't of died but the two of you would of lived. Nemesis was protecting you as well, but since he was role blocked you were just getting cured, not protected and cured.

So some way someone was getting fucked. I thought that was an awesome chain reaction considering I thought the night was going to be mundane because of all the actions we had seen before, I figured just the mafia kills would go through with no blocks. But instead we get a massacre and a half.

Rookie Mistake Award for doing well yet doing wrong
This award goes to LunarDestiny. As the third party, he was to attempt to win with either the mafia or the town. Night 4, mafia was in perfect victory mode. Ace and Pandain were ‘confirmed’ and no one had any idea of what to do. However, he made the mistake of shooting Ace. He didn’t realize how powerful the mafia was. Although the third party did make the mafia’s life hard, if the third party sided with the mafia, and maybe tried to shoot Veldril (like their win condition stated), they easily could have cleaned house.

Sleeper award for most neglecting their role
This award goes to L. As mafia drugsdealer, he could infect any doctor for one night, and if they healed someone that person would get murrayitis as well. Knowing CubEdIn is a doctor, he still didn’t use his role until the very last night. Apparently he thought he could only infect plague doctors, but that doesn’t excuse never using your role.

Dear friend:

You are the Mafia Drugsdealer! After hearing about the plague doctors, you have been hired by the Mafia to make their job a little harder. Every night, you may choose to deal drugs with any one person. If that person was a plague doctor, he will now infect his target with Murrayitis instead of curing them for that night. I'm not walking outside if I have no leads on plague doctors and I've got a 1/20 chance of landing on one. Not gonna get myself wrapped up in some tracker/watcher business for no reason, y'hear.
