He broke the no pm rule and cheated (thank you toad for being so upfront and honest) and Talis broke the no screenshotting rule as well as the no making bets rule -_-
Talis' behaviour was not IMO game altering or meant to be malicious in any way so I would let him off scott free as well, it wasn't intentional nor game altering. However Xsebts was and had I modkilled him it would have confirmed all information given to toad which had already made its way into thread rather than have it up in the air.
I am open to suggestions on if a ban is warranted or if people believe a warning is enough to suffice.
as synystyr's modkill was inactivity and he has yet to even respond to my pm nor vote in the last cycle I would say 1 game ban, or time based ban whatever we use now. My 2 cents:
Xsebt seemed to be a new guy and I don't think it was intentional at all. As someone else already mentioned I'm pretty sure he misunderstood the mason role and pm'ed me because he thought he's allowed to. If that's the case a warning is enough imo both because it was not intentional and because he's rather new to the scene ( I guess?). Besides I don't think I was modconfirmed at all, although people treated me that way. As VE mentioned, I would have done the same thing as mafia, especially considering that the red check turned out to be a miller.
So in general I'm all for giving a warning as long as it turnes out to be a newbie-mistake and I think that's the case for what happened with Xsebt. I don't think it should have been game changing but mafia ended up thinking that way so it ultimately was. So if you're going with "was it game changing or not" to decide you probably have to give him a ban. I'm just not in favor of banning new guys straight away if they do something wrong.
But it's obviously up to BC.

This is the nub of it... mafia KNOW the check is legit, so it's a mindset thing. It IS game altering. That said in most ban cases I think you have to look at intent as well. It didn't seem malicious. We also have Newbie games for people who are genuinely new.

Dorf Fortress Mini is done, even though HiroPro was modkilled he's getting away with nothing as I had no restrictions on that, and he informed me about it, it was just a fault of no replacements

I should look over this. Update coming on Monday. Assuming I don't get eaten by any rabid LR threads

I am sitting out TL Mafia LVII. I posted in the game thread and PMed Palmar.

Standard punishment for Solarsail for purposely getting modkilled on my game. Edited a post, called a ban even.

lol holy shit I can't even believe there was talk of warning Kurumi for nuking me. I know I'm late on the uptake but that's ridiculous. It's an ingame mechanic that he used. It's not his fault his power allowed him to do that, and I didn't blame him. I was utterly unmotivated. I figured his nuke was real when I saw him hint or say that he was America. I knew from my role and how it was worded that there had to be a country that had nukes, since I was a country that didn't but had the fake threat of it.
So I did believe his claim. Sorry I didn't put more effort into the game, I was busy as shit and going to die anyway which made me not feel like squandering the minimal free time I had just so I could die. I didn't think Kurumi was scum because of it either, but I wasn't actively reading enough to realize how bad my fake nuke would mess with the game, so sorry for that. From what I gather, Kurumi was probably autolynched after that so sorry for wasting a cycle if that did happen.

[M][N] GSL Open Mini Mafia has ended.
I'd like to have a warning for vaderseven. As the Doctor, he went AFK for all of Day 2 (after a lurking D1 and N1). I tried to contact him, and eventually had to log into Sc2 to find him there. He didn't come back to the thread until 10 minutes before the deadline, and was of course mislynched.
He was not modkilled and technically did not violate my activity rules so I am not requesting a ban, but had I not gone and fetched him he would have been modkilled. If a ban would be more appropriate I am fine with that as well.

Post I edited did not contain game relevant content before or after edit.
I was perfectly willing to play the game if it wasn't for your response on pony IRC. Get over what happened months ago outside of the game please.

If you edit you get a ban. End of story.

Because I may have missed some posts, assume that if its a ordinary activity ban or a simple one (e.g. modkilled for editing or failure to vote or failure to follow OP guidelines) its been approved for whatever the host requested.

GM, maybe the point is that if the host didn't actively go and find him he would have been modkilled?
|
I'd think that a warning is entirely justified, if Blazinghand hadn't gone out of his way to get a hold of vaderseven then he would have been modkilled which means ban. Even if he technically did meet the guidelines the point is that people have to care about the game every single cycle and he evidently didn't do that.

what the fuck
I don't even know what you are talking about. On irc, I'm either telling a joke, saying bullshit or seriously joking while saying bullshit. I don't know what you took seriously and if that is even something that happened months ago, i really won't remember what you are talking about.
And edit = ban, doesn't matter the information. I kinda outlined that as well on the OP.
@GM vaderseven would be fine with just a warning IMO. he didn't break rules etc
