god you are so pathetic. It is NOT within the rule. This is so NOT within the rules that your team did not even have the courage to support their behaviour and gave a stupid answer by saying that this is not true and the german/british cyclist claimed that because he does not know to speak english (do they think everybody is stupid or what ???). Why would they be so ashamed of what they have done so that they have to lie about it, if it is "within the rule" ? They just faked a crash in order to benefit for a badly written rule in a way that was not intented by those who wrote the rules. They should have been DCed 10000 times and I find it so ridiculous to have spoke so much about "Olympic Spirit" and to have blame so hardly the badmintons players (they even had to make public apologies in their countries...) and now to do that and to get away with it.... Badminton players did not break any rules strictly speaking, but they broke the spirit of the competition, so did the british in both rowing and cyclism.

Have you seen how Australia have been going? The only thing more annoying than the amount of silvers we've gotten is having to hear the commentators trying to put a positive spin on it all. Sure, it's fine to hear them telling us that the Aussie only has a dig a little deeper (and s/he's definitely got the ability!) for the first couple of times, but when you're watch the men's 4s in rowing behind by a mile and the commentators saying that all they need is a little surge and we can snag the gold... it gets tiring.

How is this is a France vs UK fight ? A lot of person here who are not from France (actually most of the criticisms came from non-french posters...) supported that what UK athlethes have done was not fair and was not in the spirit of the competition (still, surprisingly, did not find any non british person to support the behaviour of the british ??)
Well let's stop here, I just hope there will not be any more controversial behaviour from any competitors of any countries, and if there is, they will be DQ

The Chinese, Koreans, and Indonesians didnt "break' any rules either. Its how you value the integrity of your sport. Badminton is pretty bad at that in general, this is hardly a rare occurrence. half the tournaments The world no.1 Lin Dan pulls out of semis against his countrymen regularly so theyre all sitting at top 4 in the rankings ( LCW is spoilling their party at no.2)
But it seems like for once the occasion warranted some action. Clearly cycling isnt there yet. Or maybe it is but there were other factors that limited action being taken.
The double standard practically slaps you in the face. But again I for one, dont care, its always been like this. Something you would know if you'd actually watched any before 2008 Im guessing.
