Yeah but it won't happen. I mean if it was in Paris i'm 100% sure the decisions would have been in favored of the French. it's just a waste of time/money and i'm sure our rowing federation is pretty tight on money. there is far more politics involved than what you seem to think in those decisions. Sport is a secondary matter when it comes to securing income.

It isn't just British people deciding this, is it? And even if it is I wouldn't expect blatant favoritism. Don't know how reliable the Danish coach story is, he could have been seeing what he wanted to see, don't think he has any reason to lie though. Don't understand why the Danes won't back the protest.

The brits were clearly better than the french. No it's not brits who are going to decide it but being the host is a huge factor in those decisions and it's really really rare to see a decision against its athletes.
Anyway same as in track if it's true, the Brits were better but fair play has gone a long way.

If you honestly believe that at this point after so much evidence (although at this point a case could be made that its circumstantial) to the contrary then your either deceiving yourself or just painfully naive.
Could it just be, possibly that the quality of the officiating is not up to par after all the nonsense that has gone down from Shin, to the Japanese boxer to the badminton to now rowing and god knows what else that might have been missed ? Can you not even allow for that possibility ?
Theres politics involved and to a large extent this event has become a dick measuring contest. Ofcourse there will be controversy.

Quite honestly I'm not the conspiracy theory type. I don't believe in UFO's I don't believe in ghosts and I don't believe the USA blew up their own twin towers.
What your suggesting jeopardises the entire integrity of the Olympic games and if it were true I'm not even sure I would be watching it right now.

I'll just take an example: judo Historically, even if it's less the case, judges decision have always been a joke with the most incredible biais towards japanese. That's a reality and nobody tries to change that. the same happens in many sports.

Waste money on something with no clear upside for you (the danish boat won) and a potentially huge downside (if they decide that a disqualification is not enough and it is necessary with a rerace)?

cause it's a cool sport and you just know it's going to happen. decisions were quite rare before they changed the rules and the biais is less present now. Each 4years it's the same you know it's useless to have a protest against the host country, you just deal with it. Another example'd be football. The best team are usually heavily favored in their own championship, but that doesn't prevent it from being entertaining. Fairness is an heavily overrated concept in professional sport imo.
