I'm always surprised at the quality of the LCK top lane, even people like Nuguri and Cuvee have games where they shine hard. Which makes me sad when I realize I'd rate Smeb near the bottom of the rankings...

I don't understand GenG, how do they do it. Ruler looked so bad in the first game, Cuvee did even worse vs Jayce than Doran in the series before, still managed to carry in the other two.

Both series had similar vibes, where the supposed 'better' team would usually accrue early leads, but never seem to be able to control the game.

well, SKT finally beat Griffin in a bo3 since 2017, but yeah they definitely needed that win to stay in the run for playoffs, and I think SKT can really go the distance after the turnaround from poor start they had this split

Didn't SKT beat GRF in finals last split? Granted, it was a bo5, but still the same thing. SKT looked OK, GRF is just lost, Tarzan is still moving around the map with 200 IQ but the crazy synergy doesn't seem to be there all the time like it used to be. Doran had his time to shine today, I think him replacing Sword is a valid choice, but the team still doesn't seem to be fully understand the meta.

Griffin drafted horribly in all 3 games. Looks like they're having a case of serious champ pool issues. Like SKT have been drafting horribly all split and Griffin made them look like drafting geniuses. Despite winning Game 2, if SKT had just waited another 5 mins instead of trying to force Baron just before their tipping point, they woulda probably won that as well just off their late game team fighting power alone.

Agreed, the slow playstyle of SKT makes me kind of not want to see them at Worlds. On the other hand, I'd take them over GenG in a heartbeat. My current preferred lineup is DWG, KZ and GRF to Worlds, I believe in GRF being able to turn the bad reputation around. RR wasn't the best showing because they lost to Doinb dark technologies, nobody expects the Pantheon mid yet their draft seemed to be able to theoretically deal with it.
