My girlfriend was shocked she found out Taiwan wasn't really a part of China, and most of the students I've taught had a similar reaction. Maybe in general the Chinese population would be more aware (not really sold on that, China is pretty insular), but I could say for sure that this generation of young people are by and large not attuned to cross-straight relations (other than they beat the KMT, whoo?), especially the ones who have never been overseas. Most young to mid-aged urban people don't watch TV at all these days (stream online instead), much less watch CCTV. On topic, did Darshan actually win the top lane match-up as ekko vs poppy in game 1, and won the reverse matchup this game? o_O Shit son 3? I was there for 6. Maybe you should go out among the people instead staying in classrooms teaching wide-eyed kids trying impressing the laowai. You mentioned most Chinese people aren't even aware its ruled by the CCCP. There is a big difference between attuned to cross-strait relations(not with a g son, great teaching) and being aware. Most americans aren't even attuned to the status of guam to the U.S. continent. So? Sha bi. Chi JB qu ba. User was warned for this post

CLG just always seems to find a way to make things close. Assuming that CLG plays out of their minds for the entire series, I just feel like CLG is a worse version of SKT. They can probably get a game (as shown in the round robin) but in a Bo5 I'm giving the adaptation from kkoma (and them being able to review and focus down Huhi's weak champ pool) in getting SKT the win at MSI.

I actually think CLG does one thing significantly better than SKT and that's split pushing and using those guerilla tactics on the map. SKT are more reserved and don't like to cut their losses and will use a TP to fight even if it's way too late.

Gives you a stronger presence in lane I feel, has a better form of CC in the bubble, and can engage or disengage with the wave. Nami is shit engage. More of a disengage. Her kit kind of sucks against Poke.

Braum is cancer. Cant see CLG beating SKT after the Fizz/Azir/Ryze mindgames they showed vs RNG, Faker will always snowball

I think SKT would be completely fine giving up ryze for a maokai. I like this strategy if it gets them to leave open Mao, although I'm not sure how it would.

Not sure where all this aggression comes from, but I can only speak to my own experience, which is overwhelmingly ignorance of all foreign affairs, which includes what's happening to taiwan and hong kong. The original point was that the chinese crowd would hate the taiwanese enough that they would cheer for CLG (as if FW were japanese or something?) due to nationalism, which pretty lol to think that the young people into LoL would be aware enough politics to cheer for something like that, when the consensus is that China and Taiwan are the same country. For the record, I teach 16-50 year olds in a working district in Beijing (the vast majority of my students have never been overseas because they can't afford it), so by the fact that you're on an English-speaking forum is probably by definition more "among the people" than your experience of China. Also, since you're using your experience in China in the past tense, it's also worth pointing out that China is a radically different country in the past 4ish years than it was just a decade ago. My mother knows less about how China is now than I do, and she spent the first 22 years of her life here.

Of course you don't want to pick fizz or leblanc if you just want good dmg numbers but he was incredible at finding picks and causing all sorts of havoc in the back line.
