Tbh, most regions are like that (in terms of hyping up their teams when they feel their region is #1). Just look at reddit whenever NA beats EU, or visa versa.

I mean, if top 4 of MSI is going to be RNG/SKT/CLG/FW, that's going to be pretty interesting, mainly due to how most people thought 5th would be CLG or FW.
Hell, I thought the same; I felt that G2 was slightly better than CLG and that it would show in the double round robin. But CLG's had 4 really competitive games and 1 game of them getting blown out by a wild card team that looks pretty solid.
There's a real chance that G2 finishes 6th and SUP finishes 5th.
But there's still the second half of the round robin, and who knows if CLG will continue to show up and play decently well.

I'm still at work so can't give you any direct links but here's how you get to the chinese vods for msi
1) go to baidu.com
2) type in "msi" and search
3) halfway down the page will be a sports scoreboard thing with teams and matches and who won, etc. look for the link on the right that starts with a word that looks like a square with a smaller square in it (should be the last link on the right) in the line with the game you want to watch.
4) profit.
note that it's a chinese server so it'll probably load slow and also the video player sucks so you can't skip ahead without loading the video first.
if the last link doesn't start with a square in another square the vod isn't up yet.

i'd agree with maybe outer + inner for an inner if you're having trouble pushing that inner turret, but opening base seems like a bad idea
