His Viktor play has come a long-long way since his Winterfox days, that's for sure. You also have to consider Pobelter was laning against Yasuo for two games in a row... Why again was Bjergsen playing Yasuo so much? Take-away pick from Zion even though they were picking him Gnar? Not a clue. At least one of those yasuo picks was picked after Zion had picked.

Anyway TSM is still bad. CLG didn't choke so was easy 3-0. Pretty happy about this even if CLG broke my heart too many times over the year so I stopped supporting them. They still play the best league in NA(Unless TiP stops being dumb). Happy to see them win while playing that instead of TSM/TL win stuff while doing nothing. Loco getting the boot?

I dont think they can do anything about the roster though.

Not like keeping no-faith Loco would have been necessarily better, but TSM have looked completely defeated since Regi replaced him.

Bjerg used to be pretty aggressive player, Santorin can be an aggressive jungle, turtle can be aggressive and Dyrus well he's Dyrus. Something just seems broken within the team. I'm thinking it's the coaching staff and trust between teammates. Their view of how to play league of legends doesn't seem to match up to how to actually play it. Unless their goal was to create a style that works well against low tier teams but sucks really hard vs good teams. their strat is to do nothing then win via the champs they picked in a strong teamfight comp. Works really well against teams like TL that also try to do that. They are the kings of passive teamfight play. They cant skirmish for shit though which is what the rest of the world and fnatic does though so...yea that sums it up

Not like keeping no-faith Loco would have been necessarily better, but TSM have looked completely defeated since Regi replaced him. I disagree. TSM were looking lost and completely reliant upon Bjergsen in the regular split to the point that people here were more or less evenly split on whether they would win or lose vs. Gravity in the playoff quarterfinals, and very few people predicted they would get to the playoff finals. I give a fair amount of credit to Regi for turning the team around and even getting to the finals, that was a big achievement for TSM considering how mediocre they were looking throughout the split; their run may have ended on a sour note after how badly they lost the finals, but there is no shame in finishing in 2nd place. If anything, I feel like TSM was caught in the middle of a transition from a Bjergsen-centric focus to a more team oriented focus by a very on-point CLG. The finals came at a time when TSM still had a lot of things to refine with their new (and better) style that Regi imposed, whereas CLG had been polishing their style for a lot longer and showed up with cleaner, more decisive play. If TSM had had another month or so to adapt to their new playstyle, I think they would've put up a much better fight in the finals.

TSM kinda as expected. They looked weak early game the whole season its just no team was strong enough to snowball hard enough till the scaling kicked in. They need a complete overhaul imo, with a strong top lane carry. New jungle as well. Bot lane is fine I think. Maybe go after Impact and Move.

And I'm always down to see logic, reason, and proof overturn blind faith / belief. Who you root for in sports isn't about logic, it's about who you like. It's not a "pick the team you think is going to win and root for them" prospect, this isn't horse racing. I laughed pretty hard at the about face. Good lord, you have no idea how hilarious it is to see some blind zealot TSM fan turn so easily when you're a Dignitas fan. Like getting 0-3ed by CLG is any sort of suffering lmao. It's got to be some carefully planned TSM fan trolling, even TSM fans aren't that dumb. I'll be rooting for CLG at worlds, since Zion is ex-Dig. Hopefully C9 can make it in through the gauntlet for good measure.

I would argue that a lot of that play style and drafting comes from being pigeon holed into having a top that can only play like 2 champions effectively on their team style (maokai, lulu) having some one that can actually play carry top laners would help them a lot in not having a predictable draft and playstyle

That's basically saying they need an upgrade to Dyrus. But there isn't that much amazing quality on the market, unless TSM wants to go hunting in KR again. For NA in terms of raw potential, I would say CLG is currently first, TL probs second, and TSM is third but Turtle has too many ups and downs, and Dyrus is falling behind Quas and Zion.

Maybe the server move to Chicago helps locate some hidden potential on the East Coast and Midwest, as with East Coast going to be at/around 80ms ping and Midwest probably going to have 20-50ms ping, some of the diamonds in the rough will emerge and let the NA teams looking to rebuild (coughc9cough) have the winter break off and have time to try them out and see if they'll help. But the meta is shifting to a 2-3 threat/carry, team-oriented comp, with most teams wanting/having a carry or playmaking top laner. Dyrus has shown he can be a carry top (the Olaf games vs. TIP), but Santorin and Lustboy need to work together better to help with warding, as jungler is getting relegated to beefcake and wardbot it looks like, barring a very specific poke comp with a Nidalee jungler, and even then the Nid probably has to buy sightstone.
