And about 90%+ they say that one of the teams play bad. The only conclusion I can see is that every team is bad. Kind of weird considering they are the best teams available. TL and TSM are the best teams available? I suggest you to watch games of some regions actually good at the game like Korea.

Maokai was in 4.11 and was mostly his big ult change (does anyone remember when that shit was fixed on the ground...), Sivir was in 3.13. It's funny, she's been pummeled with pretty much straight nerfs for 2 seasons now and is still fantastic.

Still no reason to not get Azir for Fenix, but I doubt it will impact the result much.

Unfortunately it's the clutch fights that lead to the big objectives that win the game. Liquid isn't getting towers and drags sheet their wins. Slim margin between being 2-0, 1-1, and 0-2. These games aren't really that close. TL can only get leads through lane phase whereas TSM has been outteamfighting them even while behind in gold. Pretty much just waited both games for TL to lose teamfights.

It's just that TL has such a weird/bad draft that IWD can't get enough pressure done with Elise, which means IWD does next to nothing in a teamfight, and all Santorin has to do is maybe land a spear, use Nidalee's heal to keep one person from getting bursted, and go into cougar form to blow up Xpecial or IWD or Quas. TL drafted fine. They just had abyssal, ludens, lucidity on Viktor instead of Cap/void/sorc and so Viktor did zero damage to the TSM front line. Then, instead of kiting out of Azir sand soldiers they tried to stand up fight in them while braum and gnar could trade soak.

Teamplay in league is hard. Most of the mistakes mentioned here are just the obvious that anyone can see.

Riot's broadcast team is probably violently stroking themselves to the thought of it On a side note: As a curse fan since season 2: I am desensitized to disappointment Finals probably gonna suck anyway.

Man, you're really going to say it after TL has its best playoff performance ever in spring and finished first in summer? I think the lack of priority on Azir has proven to be questionable but when it comes down to it there's a lot of individual play problems here and really bad shot calling (pretty much every Quas TP).

The games were deceptively close. TSM picked hyperscaling comps and still kept up mid game. That is not supposed to happen. When you Elise, Sivir, Viktor you need to be SHITTING on Jinx/Azir mid game. Not doing so is a loss

TL's early game in game 2 was fine, they out-rotated TSM and IWD got enough pressure on the side lanes to get the outer towers down early, which let TL get the early dragons. But when TL is too afraid to fight because of Bjerg's Azir and Quas is doing terrible with the teleports (admittedly not NA's strong suit to begin with), that's what I have issue with. TSM just rolled with the punches, took small advantages eery time TL got a dragon and is letting Bjerg carry them in team fights because Lustboy is providing enough peel for Bjerg to get a billion damage done via sand soldier poke. Bjerg's Azir: 54k damage dealt to champions. Next highest in the game is Piglet's Sivir with 36.7k. TSM (read: Lustboy) is providing enough peel/protection for Bjerg to stay alive and get his poke in with Azir.
