Deft played well at Worlds, better than Uzi did. According to C9's site, at least not for them. Zuna is a part of C9 HotS team. He isn't a part of either of their HotS teams, according to their website. Trust me, he is. Edit : Unless they ninja kicked him. Looking at the rosters when the team got split into two teams and the current rosters, the changes to the team were the nepotism boys getting the boot. The other 3 players are still in their positions.

Very well played by SKT though. They lost at decision making, not just at a lost buff. They swapped Deft into lane vs. a Kalista and got destroyed. They tried to shut down Marin's Rumble and failed and further what's the value of that even? It's not though Rumble needs to do well in lane to have a huge impact. They were in that situation because they didn't pick/ban correctly and that's just a matter of coaching. Then you have Pawn having no impact throughout the game and getting out-laned by Easyhoon and it became a stomp. They didn't swap Deft into a lane vs Kalista. Both duo-lanes were top at first, and then EDG tried to swap Trist bot and shut down rumble, but SKT mirrored. Then, once Deft got wrecked (like down 30, 40 CS), they swapped him into top lane again to make those turret trades. Shutting down Rumble can be great, especially if you have Koro who can split push on a Gnar that's ahead without much of an answer. Pawn just had no presence because Easyhoon is a god. :p
That failed jungle invasion ruined Deft's lane. Deft is the only damage dealer in their team and from the moment he was down 4 40 cs and cannot lane at all, the game was already over. EDG's team comp never had damage to finish Vlad. I still don't understand why he did not pick Jinx or Kogmaw tho.

Jinx doesn't have a way to escape Equalizer. Kogmaw same.

Yep after that it was level 2 trist vs level 4 kallista. Just too greedy.
But is it just me or small mistakes like that or the level 1 in fnatic get punished way harder in this meta ? We havent been close to a comeback yet. Whatever team gets slightly ahead just stomps super hard.

In all seriousness I'd like to point back to 2014 All-Stars when OMG "lost" vs. C9 in the group stage (picking Lee Sin lomo) and everyone was on the CN EXPOSED train for a day.
Then playoffs happened lomo.
If I recall correctly Deft hasn't played Trist more than once this season. So yeah.

But EDG isn't OMG and SKT isn't C9. Not to say EDG has no opportunity but they played that game pretty terrible. I don't think you go into a game playing terrible just to play terrible esp. when you aren't even safe yet, considering Fnatic and TSM.

EDG is well-known for sandbagging. All Chinese teams are. It's a way of life
(Remember 2012 Summer Olympics Badminton lol?)

edg will be fine. they just got fucked by a super shitty lane situation with a lineup that relied on the botlane to carry.
pawn needs to play something other than lulu though

They actually brought MonteCristo in for this game, that's the equivalent of trolling him.

It's hard to imagine SKT or EDG taking this exceptionally seriously. TSM/FNC/AHQ are basically fighting for 3rd/4th, so they can play a little loose to feel out each other/other teams.
ALSO, YES, THE ALBIS DUMBLEDOGE MAGIC JOKE. MY HERO!
