I watched Monte's VOD reviews of the series between CLG and TL, and when he saw CLG completely miss the mark on countering the Juggermaw setup, he just went silent for about 15 seconds and facepalmed. Every time TSM got an advantage or won a fight, it came down to an inability for CLG's compositions to handle Liquid's. Honestly, at this point in the meta, I just don't see the point in banning any one support over any other, unless the player has a tiny champion pool, and no one can say that Xpecial fits that bill. Outside of Xmithie, CLG has large enough champion pools; why they didn't focus on putting Xmithie on Vi, which I know he was able to play at least once in the series, and largely to the best effect over the series, perplexes me. | ||

He's picked it a couple times this season. Maybe they just don't want to contest it at first pick. Grabbing an OP Top or Jungler with first pick has tended to be better on this season's patches. | ||
