He has to hold himself to a higher standard than anything less than second place being a disaster. Like if TL died here, got reverse swept and rekt in third place match by impact people would still be positive. But if C9 loses here? Shit man that's a certified disaster even if they godstomp TiP/TSM in the 3rd place match.

C9 has to ban that Azir. That was disgusting.

At least we have some insight into why CLG draft phase is absolutely terrible. On April 12 2015 07:27 IMoperator wrote: man, people on this forum just love to shit on players lol. Yes, Hai should probably retire because he can't keep up mechanically anymore, but cmon, he led the most dominant NA team for the past almost 2 years now. And? Most of us want C9 back to what they were and that can only happen if Hai either gets massively improved or leaves. Unless they want to be like CLG and live in the past while slowly fading to irrelevance.

That, and Hai's lack of a champion pool is showing through again. I feel like C9's pick/ban is fine, it's just that TL seems to have so many strong solo laners to go up against C9's laners. If TL does win, I'll be glad to lose my liquibet for it. You can't "get tanky" against Azir. He's designed to wreck any target with high sustained damage once he's got his core items, like Cassiopeia.

Gonna need either a combo of Gravity 5th and Liquid 3rd, or Gravity 6th and Liquid 2nd for that sweet spot 4th average. Conveniently, CLG did 2-0 Gravity in the regular season, so we can handwave it and declare that tiebreaker counts for the purposes of the joke.

Shit man that's a certified disaster even if they godstomp TiP/TSM in the 3rd place match. Could it be that (finally) the competition in NA LCS has gotten strong enough so that C9's strengths (pick/ban, usually decent team comps, Meteos on almost any jungler, Sneaky being pretty consistantly good) can't outweigh the team's weaknesses (Hai's champion pool, Lemon's low mechanical skill, Balls' apparent inability to do well on a non-carry top laner).
