I always thought that the chinese fans really hated san because he was always pretty mediocre, is that true?

Can't wait for the "LMQ isn't an NA team." excuse if Fnatic loses or the reverse if they win after they've been calling LMQ a chinese team all year.

In Bo1 formats it's always possible but given how ridiculously scary the Koreans are, it's unlikely they'll lose games.
On the flip side (pun incoming), it's kind of not surprising to see Chinese teams lose in these Bo1 formats. Teams that are undoubtedly better than others can still lose to said weaker caliber teams just because the Bo1 adds more variability to the mixture. I'm sure people know examples in other games, but if anyone knows Counter Strike: Global Offensive (and bets skins on games), I'm sure everyone knows about streaky teams (Chinese teams can be pretty streaky) that end up losing to teams that are just complete garbage (Na'Vi vs FlipSid3, if anyone knows of that game)

People talking about how badly TSM is going to get beat by SSW. Be honest, do you really think SHRC would fair that much better? SSW is going to dumpster every non-Korean team at Worlds. Every team.

Probably dumpster any non blue team

The issue is that SHRC should A) be a more competitive team. B) Avoid another CN vs CN matchup. (Especially one that LPL viewers have seen MANY TIMES ALREADY). Imagine if for one of the quarters of Worlds, you get a TSM vs C9 match. Ho-hum ...

I agree that it would be more entertaining to see TSM-EDG and SHRC-SSW, but that doesn't mean that SSW-SHRC will be any closer than TSM-SSW. SSW will slaughter both of them 3-0, maybe 3-1 if they get a lucky map.

Isn't that exactly the point? Neither TSM nor SHRC stand a chance against white. Which makes it so pathetic (the word might be too strong, but I can't think of something better right now) in which fashion TSM lost to SK. Completely unnecessary and throwing away their chances to advance.

Well I would 100% agree with that. Granted, TSM still had to win the tiebreaker over SHRC also, so it wasn't as though the SK game completely decided things, but it was a silly way to throw it all way. In one way though, it was almost fitting. The end of TSM-SK gave the whole world a taste of why watching NA LCS is so fun and so infuriating. So many games end that way.
NA LCS: Where teams are winning up until the point where they lose.

Funny enough I think SHRC is one of the best teams to fight SSW outside of Korea. They're perfectly fine with brawling and have pretty decent lane strength as well. Dandy's gap with Insec isn't nearly as pronounced as Dandy with a ... Chinese jungler not named Lovelin.

I just wonder if TSM will break their curse of never taking a game off of Koreans.
|
SHRC and LMQ probably have the best chance at taking a game off Koreans because all they do is brawl and break the rules of ognTSM rotations which Koreans wrote the rulebook on
